DOXIL side effects

oncologist wants to put me on doxil maybe maybe not w avastin

anyone have anything to say about this ?

Don't know about avastin with doxil but I am on 2nd time w doxil. Side effects vary in my case burping skin discoloration loss of appetite watch out with hands and feet Avoid really hot water and use oily cream. Wear ice helmet during chemo. Good luck

Much easier than frontline for me. Just a few mouth ulcers towards the end, but easily manageable with over the counter meds. It got tid of a muscle tumour. Good luck x

I was I think with doxil very little side effects.Hope your the same

I’m on carbo/doxil. I have 2 more infusions to go. Side affects for me is nausea for a few days after chemo but controlled with medication. I do get mouth sores but not that bad. I ice my hands and feet and take warm showers. I haven’t gotten the hand/foot blisters everyone talks about. I still have all my hair too which is nice. Easy compared to taxol. Ohhhh….. I’m still working and only take off chemo day. For me it’s been good !
