Dear everyone.(May everyone of us stay safe with our eyesights - Ameen)

I've stressed developed macular problem developed in both eyes, and doctor has injected two injections in both eyes and asked me to wait for 30 days to get the proper results, and meanwhile there's no other treatment he can do.

But I'm still taking stress and panicking when i see a small blurr spot in my vision when i blink my eye. I see a little improvement in my right eyes grey spot which is reducing a lil. But my left eye blur arrow spot from the side is still the same, and i feeel a very small visible circle spot in my left eyes central vision, which panicking me everyday. Because my left eye is the healthiest one than right.

I went to see another doctor to take his review and he said your previous doctor has injected avastin and i am also unable to do anything else til your next oct. and he also diagnosed the same problem, and written alter macula reflex. Which can only be treated with injections. And my eyesight came 6/12.

So what do i do to not panic? And does macula stops for a while or stop spreading when you've injections liquid in your eyes? Please tell.

so sorry to hear your worries. Avastin can only be given once a month so nothing else can be done then also you will have 3 injections generally and then a review to see how things are going . What condition have you got may I ask? 6/12 is what you need to be able to drive so if you do drive you are with in the legal limits I wish you well. There are other drugs they could try after the Avastin trial which is good news. Take care.

I'm getting worried about the small circle flashes in my vision but they are not dark and blur. But they appears after injection, and it's been 9 days for both eyes, i see no improvement, but the only confidence I've built up that injection will work.

I've discussed with another doctor and he said you're within the limits and minimum three injections you need to get a proper respond and then we will see the results.

I'm worried how we can stable our vision and eye condition so we can live a stable life. How many of other members are having stable life with injections?

P.s different people and age group can have different situations i believe.

Sorry but you will have to be patient I’m afraid! Find ways to relax ..breathing exercises, music, reading, jigsaws etc ...good luck.

That's what I'm doing. Trying to change my mind into other things. After three weeks of injections, I've developed some sort of confidence.

Going for OCT after 3-4 days. Need everyone's prayers for the success of Avastin in my eyes.

Get well soon y'all!
