Small Increase NODE

Hi beautiful ladies,

My mom was diagnosed in 2018 with Stage 4 High Grade. She has since had Taxol/Carbo and major debulking surgery. She was NED for 2 years. She then had a small increase in her external iliac node and she received 6 rounds of doxil/carbo. At this point her CA125 was 63. She was NED for 1 year and since OCT 2022 she has been on watch and wait. Since Oct 2022 she had two CT scans which show a small growth of a quarter of an inch in one spot (THE SAME NODE). Her CA 125 is 18 and at diagnosis 464, at reoccurrence 63.

We would like to wait longer as we think it would not be beneficial to start chemo as she has been on avastin which seems to be holding it off from growing aggressively.

Has anyone been in a similar spot?

I think you are right to hold off Lind58. In my experience nodes can grow quite slowly without causing symptoms and so the option of some nice normal time out of treatment is definitely an option xx
