TSAT low but Ferritin fine/maybe high
Hi everyone, I do appreciate reading all of your posts and am sorry for how much suffering is connected to RLS. It's very encouraging to read about a number of people finding solutions to their RLS. I am seeing improvement but have some questions that I hope you can help me with: RLS has been a

Blood thinners and ferritin levels
For the last few months, I have been suffering from low ferritin levels and wondering if it could be caused by Edoxaban. I take a course of iron tablets, feel okay for a few weeks and then it starts again. Just wondering if anybody has also experienced this.

Radiation Interruption
Hi....all the best to your Dad. I have no idea if stopping radiation for a time would m after. I did 5 on 2 days off for 28 treatments. You did not mention any PSA or Gleason number. Not sure that would matter...but someone here might venture another opinion based on those numbers and If he is metastatic

Recovery of Testosterone
We all have heard about how long it takes to recover testosterone after you stop ADT. You probably also heard how age affects recovery time. The older you are the longer it takes and the T may never recover. The type of ADT you take can also affect recovery time - shot versus pill. I am 78 and I have

Active Surveillance
Hello everyone, I have had 2 biopsies in the last 2 years (the last one was in January 2023) with the latest one showing 1 out of 12 cores positive for Gleason 3+3 and another core suspicious for cancer. It was also noted on my last MRI that I had a bladder outlet obstruction. My PSA went as high as

positive pregnancy test - natural !!
I’m in shock. Did a first response test this morning cycle day 23 and it’s positive. I don’t want to allow myself to get excited because of the huge odds of it being genetically abnormal and miscarrying 🙃 especially with the high levels of DNA frag. I’m also worried it’s just going to delay treatment

I’ve been on thyroxine for 50 years and for last 30 years reasonable stable on 1.25 a day. I do have a medichecks test every year. I don’t have high antibodies . A few years ago I was waking in the night chocking and mri showed my thyroid gland had all but disappeared, with a small part of what was left

New here and worried
Potted history. Regular wine drinker. Bottle a night, but recently cut down to 0 since 4 weeks. Have had history of RUQ pain, but it came and went. Has been constant for a month now. Also get lower pelvic pain. I had a hysterectomy with retained ovaries in 2014. I also have lupus and a carrier of haemochromatosis

No pregnancy symptoms success? 6+5
Hi all... Just wondering if there are any success stories for little to no pregnancy symptoms? I'm 6+5, my boobs hurt and I'm exhausted but I'm still on Progesterone and think I've felt like this since stims anyway. I had a few days of slight travel sickness feelings but nothing for a couple of days.

T4 how long it lasts in the body 🤔
Hi everyone ❤️ Quick question, I started on T4 vencamil 12 mg on Monday afternoon (8th April) took Tuesday, Wednesday, dose 12mg then found out gp botched the thyroid bloods 😡 I posted the whole saga, so not going to get into that. So how long will these 3 days of T4 12mg take to leave my system?

SIB/Flame Protocol
The RO recommends Simultaneous Integrated Boost (SIB) as part of my treatment. PSA was 19.76 (4/2023), then 21.78 (5/2023 to confirm initial PSA). He is concerned that the PSA does not match the Gleason score (4+3, grade 3) as PSA has surpassed 20. Multiplanar MRI and PSMA PET indicated no metastasis
