ADA (American Dental Association) protocol on being premedicated before Dental Appointments
Hi All, Since there is so much confusion on whether or not you need antibiotics before a Dental appointment, I decided to send the site (updated January 5, 2022) on the ADA protocol for premedication before an appointment. when to take tablets
I have had my thyroid problem since 1992 and when I was just taking my thyroxine , when to take it was not a problem. Now I have atrial fibrillation and have to take 1/2 tablet of Apocard with a blood thinner 12 hours apart with food. I also have to take a beta blocker with food but not with the Apocard

Return to AFIB after 4 years
Had 2 cardioversions and 2 ablations four years ago. The second ablation had everything working great for the last four years. Have to take a lot of HBP medication, but all was manageable until about a month ago when AFIB reared its ugly head again. Got scheduled for and had another cardioversion.

Pirtobrutinib approved by my insurance company
On my last visit to Upenn, my blood counts were significantly higher and after 4 years on Calquence, it has stopped working. My specialist was hoping I’d make it thru January 2024 when they expect Pirto to approved for CLL, but that’s not likely. I reached out to see if I qualified for Pirto under

A Good Day's Night
AFib status: Permanent for at least the past two years. 75 years old. Medication: Apixaban, 5mg Bisoprolol, Amlodipine, 5mg Ramipril, Atorvastatin. No offers by my doctor of a cardioversion or an ablation. I have been fairly stable on those meds since it was confirmed that I had Permanent Afib.

Results on Armour Thyroid - Help
Hi, I was diagnosed with Hashimotos in July 2013 (10 years ago). Was put on 50 mcg Synthroid, then in 2014 I started taking a synthetic compound of T4/T3. Worked with my integrative NP for 5 more years to adjust this compound to get to a comfortable dose of 80 t4/12 t3 mcg. Then in December of 2021

Red blood cells
My red blood cell count increased from 133 in September 2022 to 151 in March 2023. The haemocrit count went up from 4.43 to 4.96, both outside the normal range. These were both marked with an asterisk on my blood test sheet but that was all. I went into persistent afib in August 2022. I am worried
