Flecainide, Diltiazem and Shortness of Breath
Anyone get shortness of breath (SOB) from Flecainide and/or Diltiazem -- not right away, but months later? For the first six months on both drugs, I had no SOB. For the second six months I had SOB. Now that I stopped both drugs, it seems better. Could be a coincidence, but looking for group experiences

Being Thankful----Year 6
Greetings FPC members: Each year, I try and post at holiday times of reasons to be thankful regarding PCa developments, and I am thankful for so many things that I have, but we can all be thankful for : 1) NCI and it's support of clinical trials ( including the trials of cancer drugs like RRX-001

Efficacy and safety of new‑generation BTKis (primarily acalabrutinib and zanubrutinib) in CLL/SLL: a systematic review and meta‑analysis
However, compared with ibrutinib, the incidence of
atrial

flutter
(9.4% vs 16%; P = 0.02), hypertension (9.4% vs 23.2%), and bleeding events (38% vs 51.3%) were lower.

A question please
I had had bouts of Afib ranging on average of 12-18 hours a time for many years. I then had one of 55 hours 5 years ago. Then it was back to the usual pattern. Suddenly I’m into another long one? I have always self converted and never been to hospital, except twice in 18 years and that was with chest

I have an amazing ability to pick relevant podcasts while driving. Just had my blood work done in preparation of starting Pluvicto and not being able to choose wisely while driving I picked this podcast which i have heard before and have even advocated on this forum before. Dr Chetty is so brilliant

Ectopics and steroid cream

Atrial
Flutter
. I’m getting ectopics most of the day it started to happen the night I took my wife to dinner. Had a zero beer and 1 zero wine but I guess both full of sugar. So far had them for 3 days the doctor gave me ECG to confirm not AF.

Closing tomorrow – last chance to participate in our survey on simultaneous screening of AF and Blood Pressure.
You are invited to participate in an online survey on behalf of the AF Association. Your feedback will contribute in providing researchers working in this field to better understand the following: • How common is simultaneous screening of high blood pressure and Atrial Fibrillation (AF) amongst patients

Proper Drug for My Wife and Efficacy of an Ablation
For the past 40 days, my 77-year-old, relatively fit wife has been in and out of AFib — but mostly in. She’s had three trips to the hospital during this period, because her heart rate had been in the 120-150 range for several hours each time. On her first hospital visit, she was given Diltiazem and

Is it bad for you to just wait out an Afib spisode.
Over the last month I went into Afib 6+ times. The first one lasted about 12 hours. The next 3 I ended up in emergency and they had to cardiovert me. The 5th time lasted 24 hours. The 6th time, however, lasted 5 days. But I was so fed up with sitting in emergency for 12 hours and getting my chest blasted

Hello everyone, I was very encouraged by the impressive results from this novel cancer-killing virus CF33-hNIS (VAXINIA) clinical trial. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k9AUCLiQI2o I particularly like the fact that there were nearly no toxicity and adverse effects from this innovative approach except

Good resources regarding vagal AFIB?
Does anyone have any good resources (articles, YouTube videos) directed to vagally-mediated AFIB (the type that occurs after a large meal or while sleeping)? I believe my AFIB was triggered by endurance athletics (I used to do long bike rides and probably overdid it and stressed my body too much).

Amiodarona- I’ve been on it a week and feel very shaky, almost like tremors inside. Just wondering if I should continue with it ?
I am on holiday in Spain had a bad AFib attack with RVR ended up in intensive care. Long story short they put me on Amiodarona and I’m feeling very fatigued still (8 days after discharge) and very shaky. Thinking about coming off the drug since I really don’t feel good on it - thought at first it was

bradycardia interrupting sleep
I’m waking up during the night with low heart rate 42-48 bpm and a feeling that my heart is labouring. This is usually twice in the night and I often can’t get back to sleep after 4.00am. I think sleeping on my back doesn’t help ( I try not to) and my other half tells me I snore. Tried all the sleep
