I particularly like the fact that there were nearly no toxicity and adverse effects from this innovative approach except some flu-like symptoms which go away after a while. I am now moving onto my 3rd line of treatment, and my body is very beat up by the toxicity and side effects...I would love to explore the opportunity to participate in this study.
May I ask if anyone is currently enrolled in this study, please? Would you be so kind as to share your experience and how to get on this trial please?
Thank you so much in advance for any insights or advice that you could kindly share with me!

I'm also very interested in this trial and have been following it closely for about 18 months. I contacted the trial site nearest me (in Australia) and have talked to the trials co-ordinator. I have sent through bloodwork, biopsy info and scans etc and hope to be eligible if my current treatment fails. I will update here if I have any news
Do you know if this trial is also conducted in Sydney? Do you have a link to Vaxinia trial description which lists the sites in Australia where the trial is/will be conducted. I only found a while ago a ref to Tasman Oncology Research in South Australia being the first hospital approved to conduct these trials with human patients. Thank you!
In Australia, it is currently only open in Southport QLD and St Vincent’s hospital in melbourne but I believe they are looking to open more sites in the future. The clinical trials record link is below :
Thank you. Yes, I saw the trial blurb phase I dose escalation, monotherapy or in combo with keytruda, but thought that you have seen ref to more trial sites then the 2 mentioned. Best!
Couldn't agree with you more! I feel that this is the right approach and is the real target therapy unlike what's currently available. May God bless us so that we all get to see the day when we find a way to end this hideous disease once and for all! 🙏🙏🙏
Thank you so much for sharing. Adds a lot of positive energy to my day. I don't think they addressed how this could help people where the cancer is systemic like those of us with bone Mets. It seems more tumor oriented but very encouraging.
I am so happy that this helps brighten your day a bit 🥰 My understanding is that the IV arm is investigating the effectiveness of the treatment systematically and the Intra-tumor injection arm is evaluating the effectiveness of the treatment on more localized tumors. I would love to learn more about this trail. But I see great promise with this approach even though they are still in early stages.
Thanks for the clarification. I've just started treatment. De novo diagnosis back in April. Currently stable with Ibrance and Hormone suppressant. I feel good and of course I'm hoping to stay this way as long as possible. It's helpful psychologically to know that there will hopefully be better options for me when the time comes.
