Serevent
My doctor changed my inhaler from
Atimos
modulite
to Serevent. I've been using it for two days. My question is how long do you have to use serevent for it to take full effect? Have any of you had experience with this inhaler? Thank you for all your replies.

I do not know what to do.
There I received a prescription for
Atimos
modulite
12, Flixotide 250. In case of infection, additional Pulmicort and Salbutamol to the nebuliser. I checked all these new drugs to see if they were on the NHS list. It turned out that they are.

Bisoprolol And Asthma
I have recently seen a couple of posts about taking/not taking Bisoprolol if you have asthma, but does that relate to those inhalers containing Salbutamol sulfate I have been taking 5mg of Bisoprolol twice a day for the past 12 years. (Paroxysmal Afb) plus the same of Ramipril and Doxazosin. Some

Hi guys, sorry to be a total let down. I have cirrhosis and TIPS stent fitted 8 years ago. Erectile dysfunction meds and side effects
My husband is getting brachytherapy in September and then IG IMRT in October. He is currently on Orgovyx for month two and will be adding zytega next month. Good news is that his PSA has gone to 2 and Testosterone to 9 after a month on Firmagon so meds seem to be doing what are supposed to. Drs have

Help deciding on treatment
Discovered this forum a month ago and have found it to be a wealth of information, with very educated/informed members. Hoping that you can spread some of your wisdom and help my finalize my decision with treatment. I've posted more details in my profile as well as write ups from MSKCC on my Biopsy

Pelvic floor exercise video removed.
I had a RP 5 years ago with recurrence - then had 72Gy of IMRT. After the RP with pelvic floor exercises, I had incontinence under control - just wearing 1 shield per day. But then after radiation I completely lost control. I go thru periods of intensely training and I still have hope. My problem is

A technical question on Radiation
A technical question: The radiation oncologist tells me that I received 19.5 Gy via Cyberknife over 3 days, a high biologic dose, and 42Gy via conventional (IMRT) radiation over 21 days. He says these are not linearly additive ( ie., not just for a total of 61.5Gy) but that the effective biologic

Update on Treatment
In June 2023, a routine PSA test value turned out to be 4.6, did an MRI; Diagnosed with Prostate Cancer, Gleason Score 7 (3+4), biopsy said one core. (Details in my profile). Opted for Active Surveillance. But in Oct 2023, PSA level went to 6.1 and in Jan 2024 PSA went to 9.2 In March 2024, did another

PROSTOX Tests
Is Conventionally Fractionated Radiotherapy (CFRT) mentioned on https://mirakind.org/prostox-testing/ the same as Intensity-Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT)? Specifically, does the CFRT test indicate if I am at high or low risk for IMRT? If the result of SBRT test indicates high risk, can I opt for

MRI report shows enhancing bone lesion is noted involving the left sphenoid bone.
That’s from an MRI taken six weeks after 10 sessions of IMRT were completed for a surgically inoperable metastasis in my skull. Apparently this means the contrast agent shows increased blood flow or activity in the tumor. Does that sound normal to still have increased blood flow or activity six weeks

Lupron SEs - legs
Appreciate this forum and all whom post. I’m amidst 2-year course of Lupron and experiencing persistent leg pain, worst in both Achilles tendons and calves. Recent salvage IMRT, too. Thoughts on managing such SEs appreciated. Cheers.

Estrogen for Bone Health in PCa patient.
I am under treatment for Prostrate Cancer since mid 2019. Gleason 9-10 when detected with 250 PSA. Pet CT showed all contained in prostrate but with one ECE and seminal vesicles involvement. No spread visible to lymph nodes or anywhere in the body. Treatment was conventional ADT using Firmagon for 4

Brachytherapy boost HDR vs LDR +/- ADT
A bit of my background: 50 years old, Gleason score of 4+3, a PSA of 11, decipher is low, and possible extracapsular extension. 1) I know what LDR and HDR do, but what are the differences in terms of their long-term side effects? 2) Should I include ADT for a better outcome and what percentage improvement
