I noticed this a few weeks ago on my NHS app and I didn't think anything off it I went to order some more and I noticed I can only order the salbutamol and not the clenil modulite? I have been told so many times only take blue inhaler in emergencys, with out the brown inhaler it's gona get really bad, I do have a few left but what happens when they run out?? I'm so confused as to why my asthma nurse felt I don't need clenil modulite on prescription any more it's the only thing keeping me from having an asthma attack!

I got my repeat prescription paper from chemist and it's on there but I can't order it on the NHS app. I will have to go to the GP if I want to get clenil modulite x

I couldn't order my fostair on the app, the message said unavailable medication but I didn't know why. It turned out that a block repeat was sent to the pharmacy, so I just go to chemist when I need one. Unfortunately nobody from the surgery saw fit to inform me. It might be worth speaking to someone from your usual pharmacy in case they've done the same thing.

Agree with Patk1, contact nurse or gp ASAP - but if I were you i wouldn't be letting on that I have a couple spare! I keep a couple of Fostair spare as I've been caught out before. Flipping annoying when they do this at this time of year 😡

Yeah I know what you mean especially at this time of year when it gets so cold when my asthma is at its worst it's awful, I will speak to the gp. x

Are you due your annual review? It could be a way of making you contact the surgery? My surgery takes the salbutamol off repeat. Hope you get it sorted asap. Take care 🦊x

My consultant stopped clenil modulate and replaced it with fostair, a smaller particles steroid inhaler. Its very good for me.

Yumz199725, you need an urgent appointment either by phone or face to face with a doctor or you could end up in hospital. If you can't get an appointment then call 111. You may not be able to get Clenil Modulite but you should be given an alternative inhaler of similar drug ingredient. Of course the nurse cannot do this you have to get it reviewed by the GP. Don't leave it a moment longer.

I already had my review with a nurse and now I can't get my clenil modulite on repeat prescription on my NHS app but I can if I go to the pharmacy so I will do that before I run out x

Glad to here you have it sorted. Try to reorder before you run out, on your prescription it tells you how many repeats there are and when a clinical review is due. I take three inhalers but the ventolin does not last as long as the other inhalers. I think most people try to keep a spare in case you can't get to the chemist or doctors or confusion occurs when its being dispensed. Take care x

Keeping a spare is really important as there are shortages so we need to cover ourselves against that possibility.

I think something has gone wrong here - possibly with your online system. I suggest you immediately contact your clinician.
