PSA dropping, yet testosterone rising on Lupron/Zytiga??
I got my first Lupron shot on 5/25/20 and started the Zytiga on 7/3/20. I'm an original Gleason 8 PSA 50 with extracapsular extension. Now with 4 bone mets about 3 years after HDR Brachy, IMRT, and 8 months of ADT. Here are my numbers: 5/22/20 3.41 ----377 6/19/20 .87 ----9.5 7/16/20

New Here and Glad I’ve found this Group – Anyone done Proton Therapy?
Intro Info – I’m 66 relatively good health, obviously gay. During a routine physical I had a slightly elevated PSA score of 4.3 so my primary care doctor recommended me to a Urologist. After some discussion we decided to do a biopsy. The result from the 12 cores was not what I wanted to hear. I was hoping

Is There “SBRT” for Lymph Nodes
My RO says while my bone mets can be zapped in a few days my para-aortic lymph nodes will take about 28 days of radiation (has to do with proximity to the bowels). I recall that SBRT could have brought my 30 days of IMRT radiation treatments to my prostate down to 5 or so treatments. Is there an equivalent

Fostair Tips
Hi! So, I have just come off the phone from one of the nurses at my GP surgery, and she has switched me from 200mg Clenil Modulite 1 puff 2x daily (initially I was on Clenil 100mg 2x puffs 2x daily but due to the shortage they changed me to the 200 and just halved the number of puffs) to Fostair 100/

Hello!
New person to board looking for a Gay (happy?) perspective. 60 year old. Gleason Score 7, MRI 2 spots RADS 4 1x1, & RADS 5 1x2, 27cm3 total. PSA last time was 10 and rising (Feb). Looking to get it treated. Have Chrohn's Disease so two surgeries (scar tissue) mean that robotic surgery is not a thing.

Asthma inhaler
My wife is asthmatic. She is prescribed Clenil Modulite 200mcg. Unfortunately the pharmacy that normally provides her medication has had no stock for over a month and can give no intimation when new stocks will be received. They do have 100mcg in stock but can only provide this with a new prescription

Is it really asthma?
Hi everyone, Here's another long post... I've been having a persistent cough and breathing difficulties for some time and my GP thinks it's asthma. I'm 31, non-smoker with no history of chest infections or other respiratory problems and no known allergies so I'm a bit puzzled as to how or why I'd develop

Interesting report on the efficacy of IMRT on prostate cancer
An 8-year study comparing the results of various cancer treatments concluded that IMRT is equal to or in some cases superior to other treatments such as brachytherapy and surgery. Among the numbers mentioned were: "Men with localized prostate cancer who are treated with external-beam radiation therapy

Bone Mets or Arthritis?
Hello all, I’m increasingly confused about how radiologists differentiate between PC bone mets and routine degenerative changes like arthritis. Bear with me... My husband’s initial CT scan on 8/19 stated “Lytic lesion is seen in T7 as seen on the recent bone scan. A lytic lesion in the right L5 vertebral
