S**t is getting real
Hello lovely ladies, I'm back after a lovely Christmas break as I will shortly be embarking on my IVF journey - at last! For anyone who isn't familiar with me (I've noticed lots of new names - Hi!), I've been trying to get pregnant for almost 3 years; our 'diagnosis' is unexplained. We had 3 cycles

Starting again on the NHS in Feb. Any advice on where to start when the funding was approved mid last year?
Hi Ladies, Happy New Year :) I've been silent since our last failed FET in September, trying to think about something else (yeah right...) and take a break from it all. It did feel good not to have any injections or scans or pills or pokes for a few months... No good news or miracle during that time

Looking for support and advise around using a sperm donor for IUI
Hi all, I am new and this is my first post. I am looking for some advise around using a sperm donor for IUI. My husband has been diagnosed as infertile and we have decided to use a sperm donor. We meet criteria for NHS treatment and our consultant has recommended 3 rounds of IUI and then IVF if this

Dreams can come true...mine did after failed attempts of IUI and IVF...have hope...
Hi ladies, I have been through a journey that I wanted to share. In January 2015 I was told I suffered with PCOS and endometriosis and after having a laparoscopy, I was informed that my left fallopian tube was blocked and therefore any chances of getting pregnant was through IVF, basically I was labelled

Same sex couple pregnancy advice with endo.
Has anyone got any advice or experience on whether I would still be able to try
artificial
insemination
or whether I would have to have IVF having endometriosis? Any advice would be perfect!

Sharing our story... being honest about infertility and miscarriage
Hi, I think I first found this forum around 2 years ago. I've been somewhat of a lurker, reading posts with interest, commenting every now and then and posting very occasionally. I don't really know why I haven't got more involved but very recently my journey has taken some very unexpected turns down

Pain after IUI
I had my second IUI today and it was painful. Nurse thinks she pranged the internal opening of my cervix which hurt like hell. Since procedure I’ve had crampy period pains which have persisted. Not awful but last time I only had them for couple of hours. No significant bleeding so I don’t think any damage

Resolving doubts
The most common treatments carried out in assisted reproduction units range from simpler techniques, such as
artificial
insemination
, which simply consists of seeing when the woman is going to ovulate, by means of an ultrasound, and depositing the semen sample inside the cavity. uterine at the most appropriate

FET third time lucky - Taking Lubion
We have been trying for 7 years and had two IVF’s and one IUI with no luck. My doctor has given me Lubion as I think the problem might be short luteul phase and low progesterone. Has anyone else taken Lubion with success? Sending out happy vibes to all

Is this my BFP?
Hi ladies (and men), Im 14 days post IUI today and took a test yesterday which was faintly positive. I took another this morning expecting it to be slightly darker but it's not. It's maybe even slightly fainter. This happened to me in April and the result was early miscarriage/chemical pregnancy. I dont

IUI
Hi, this is the first time I've ever posted and feeling a little nervous. I'm a single woman and thinking about going through IUI. I have been thinking about this for a long time and just wanted to see if anyone else has been through this treatment as a single woman? I would really appreciate some advice

BFN but no af. UPDATED again
Hey, looking for others experiences (positive or negative, a mini survey). My official test day is tomorrow but I should have started spotting on Saturday and so far no sign. I caved and tested on Saturday morning (3 days before test day, 4 days before 'missed' period) and got a BFN. I've read lots of
