I have a year old daughter. after Trying for 4 times of IUI i finally had multiple follies and eventually a pea got planted in my womb.

IUI main procedure takes very less time. You will be out of clinic within minutes.

At first, the fertility specialist will check hormonal conditions, whether your uterus befits the embryonic development and your health status, etc.

You should not lose hope on failure, because if no other complicated issue prevails then IUI will really deliver great results. Apart from that know the pros and cons of IUI either from the dr or a consultancy.

Take care and go for it.

Hi dmccmky We used to lots of IUI's years ago and had many successes. Less invasive, but you may need a few attempts. Might be worth a shot if your cycle is regular. Good luck! Diane

I had stimulated IUI, and although it was a 15% chance of working for us, it did work and we are pregnant with twins. I know many people try and it doesn’t happen first time and I do feel we were very lucky.

Good luck with whatever you go for! Xx

Yes first attempt - it was stimulated so I took injections in the run up to it. And researched the highest success rate clinic in London for this procedure. Feel very blessed it worked! Xx

April but with twins it’s 37 weeks latest so have about 12 to go! Good luck with your treatment!!

I’ve had friends who’s clinic has experimented with stimulated drugs, maybe abandoned one cycle if they are not stimulating you enough or over stimulating which could result in many multiples. Just to try and help prepare you slightly. The procedure isn’t that uncomfortable. Hope it all works out for you! Xx
