Is this my BFP?

Hi ladies (and men),

Im 14 days post IUI today and took a test yesterday which was faintly positive. I took another this morning expecting it to be slightly darker but it's not. It's maybe even slightly fainter. This happened to me in April and the result was early miscarriage/chemical pregnancy. I dont know what to think or how to feel right now!! Is this ok or should the line be darker today? Is it the beginning of another miscarriage/chemical? My head and my emotions are all over the place today! xx

Hi I can see the lines but they are very faint. I would get some bloods done to be sure xxx

You can defo see two lines. What type of test is it? FRER or normal FR? FRER much more sensitive. I also found this time when testing at night a couple of times my lines were darker than in the morning which was a huge relief after flapping all day about the darkness of the line. x

It was a FRER. In a way Im wishing I hadn't tested! This is torture. Maybe I'll try and leave it for a couple of days. It's so hard not to want to test every day though!

So did u get a good positive result after faint results? xx

I tested everyday on the basis I was basically living to POAS. I got my first FRER BFP this time at 6DP5DT. I was using internet cheapies and there was the faintest of shadows the night before but then disappeared. At 7DP5DT the line didn't immediately come up on the first test so had a mini breakdown and tested 3 more times on different branded tests. Clearblue Early Detection was positive immediately and a second FRER changed so there are some minor variances in the tests. I was still worried and actually hang the helpline on the box for FR and they told me as long as there is a line then all is fine. Over the next few days the lines came up quicker and perhaps a tiny bit darker. I stopped testing at 9DP5DT because I ran out of tests and I would have driven myself insane. X

Hcg increases every couple of days so you wouldn’t expect a darker line today I don’t think. Test again in a couple of days time XX

I’m so glad you asked this because I have the same question! I got a faint but clear bfp at 8dp5dt then tested again this morning and the line isn’t really any darker so I’m freaking out that something is wrong, my blood test is Wednesday so I’m just going to wait

I think we’ll drive ourselves crazy if we keep checking every day!

Those lines are very faint but you can see them

Hi Lorry, I see 2 lines & the one on the right looks darker to me. I have had 3 chemicals all at this stage as well. I would say test again tomorrow but let ur clinic no that u have had a positive result. If this keeps happening I should be seen at a miscarriage clinic for treatment options. This time round I'm carrying on with my cyclogest if I get a positive so let's see how that goes. I'm currently 4dp 3dt so in the dreaded 2ww x
