low ovarian reserve, IUI as last resort for bad quality eggs
Hello, I went to more appointments today, after 6 mnc attempt with 4 eggs of bad quality retreived, (embryos die on day 2) our specialist adviced to go completly natural cycle with egg retreival and icsi, or to even to test IUI. I was very surprised he suggested that as some previous retrieved eggs did

Hi girls- I just wanted to up...
Hi girls- I just wanted to update you all on our journey. So our early preg scan (6 weeks) showed and empty sac... told to come back 2 weeks later... I bled at 7 weeks but with no clots or pain so I was still hopeful (ish). So anyways - today was my 8week scan. Sadly we have lost our baby - to make

New -Sad times, trying to come to terms with everything
Hi, Not sure where to start. I didn’t realise there were so many people with fertility problems. My partner and I had been trying for a baby for around 12 months and had been unsuccessful when we decided to go to the doctors. After lots of tests, blood tests we were finally referred to a fertility clinic

IUI, Gonal F questions!
Hey ladies! So I started taking Gonal f doing 75 - 3 days ago now. I was just wondering what others have experienced. I don't know if I'm looking for things or it's in my head but I've had an aching side all day, kinda like light period type ache. If you don't mind sharing I'd like to ask... what was

What to ask in the second fertility appointment? (NHS)
I'm fairly new to all of this, and thought I'd try and see if I could get any advice. My partner and I have been TTC for 21 months now, and earlier in the year I had a lap for extensive endometriosis, which was subsequently removed (three months ago). Since then, our GP referred us to the NHS fertility

12 weeks pregnant using Letrozole (Femara)
Hi everyone, A bit of history: I’m 38, husband 40 and we’ve been having unexplained infertility for around 3 years; first natural pregnancy after an abondonrd IUI, it ended in having just an empty sac; then moved to IVF, which resulted in BFN, but had 4 frosties left. Then went to see a specialist outside

Consultation tomorrow. Advice needed
Hi everyone. I’m hoping for some advice regarding my follow up iui consultation. I’ve had 3 rounds of iui already and all ended in bfn. It was a 3 cycle package and tomorrow is my follow up consultation. I’m hoping to just go onto another 3 rounds but they said I need to speak to the consultant first

Returning to Iui natural cycle after 6month break
Just seeing if there is anyone who has experienced a 6month break between their last iui and then restarting treatment. Me and my wife, especially myself didn't realise how much we would become emotionally affected by the iui process and chose to take a break for a while, but now we're ready to start

IUI waiting times?
Hello First time messaging on here but at a loss really. We started this journey back in January 2017 and I knew we would have problems. Roll forward we have now done 5 cycles of clomid which all have worked in the fact I’ve ovulated but still not pregnant. Husbands sperm is fine so the problem lies

Anyone any experience of Endo returning after having Mirena coil fitted and no period for 3 years?
Hi all, I was diagnosed with severe Endometriosis in 2010 after failed pregnancy attempts including three IUI and five IVF treatments. Had a Laparoscopy in 2010 then another in 2015 to remove lesions and on the second one also had Mirena coil fitted rather than a Hystorectomy, periods halted after six

What to tell work?
So my OH and I are on a donor sperm waitlist. Ye to an accident he is a T6 paraplegic and as such has zero semen. We are eagerly awaiting the moment when we reach the top of that waiting list so we can try our first shot at IUI (we have agreed two IUI cycles and then we will go to IVF/ICSI. My question
