Anyone on Angelita?
Hello. I have recently been put on Adilimumab plus methotrexate after a year on methotrexate for inflammatory arthritis (RA and OA). It has been a rough time with all the meds - how have folks got on with adilimumab? Thanks

Happy Graduate!
Hot, sweaty, tired, happy Graduate! 💪🏻 Psoriatic arthritis survivor, never, ever thought I would do this but graduated today. Even got my pace down to 12.38! Covered about 2.4 miles (still to convert) and now got parkrun and 5k to work towards. Following all your posts has been such a support.

Turning over in bed
I wonder if anyone finds turning over in bed difficult. I find it a huge effort and feel like a beached whale as I struggle to do lots of wiggles! Is it PMR or could it be my 82 year old body, which also has some arthritis? But it is not so much painful as very difficult and exhausting. Comments appreciated

Arthritis pain not relieved by Pred.
I have had to give in and put on a BuTrans patch as well as cocodamol, for pain relief. Most of my pain from PMR has gone but the Pred is not hitting the OA as I expected it would. Any advice would be so helpful, I’m on 15 mg Pred and have been for 4 weeks.

Catch up on Knee problem
Saw doctor yesterday, scan results say its arthritis in knee with both meniscus worn referred for orthopeadic assessment , but as usual weight will be classed as the main culprit no doubt, when in fact I come from a family with history of such arthritis including gout. Anyway we are moving forward now

Safe exercise with osteoarthritis
Although I have lost weight in the last year I have recently been diagnosed with mild/moderate OA. How do I exercise safely without making things worse? I teach linedance too. Thank you.

My doctor sent me for blood tests to check for rheumatoid arthritis,he said the test came back negative but my other blood test showed inflammation. He said he would get in touch with rheumatology and get back to me.The doctors receptionist rang me yesterday and said my doctor is going to ring me on Wednesday

GPA under control but still get joint pain
I have GPA which is under control but I still get joint pain. My rheumatologist has scanned my joints & says its not inflammatory so is unrelated to the gpa. She says it's osteoarthritis. I'm not so sure. Has anyone else experienced this & can I still have joint pain related to vasculitis if my bloods

Humira?
I don't really know if I'm finished with PMR, since I still have a lot of pain. But the dr. thinks this pain is now mostly fibromyalgia with osteoarthritis, too. I have a feeling she is right now, but I still take the prednisone 25mg and feel like I need it. But probably I don't, since it isn't helping

Has anyone with knee arthritis got on well with an e-bike?
Hello all, About two years ago I bought a bike to ride on weekends etc, but the osteoarthritis in my knees really flared. I got my positioning checked at bike shop which helped but I find the bike very hard on my knees. I have been seeing more e-bikes around but know they are expensive and wanted to

Inflammatory Arthritis, with PMR/GCA
Well, I did something that was stupid. I vacuumed and mopped my entire 2nd floor last Saturday. I moved furniture. I tried to store a large item under the bed, and when it got stuck I tugged real hard to get it back out. Later that evening I developed level 10 paint, blood pressure shot up, and went

First dose of Humira yesterday, now a question
I am concerned for my 20 year old daughter who was diagnosed with RA a few months ago. Initially she was put on Methotrexate & steroids. She had trouble with Methotrexate (caused shortness of breath) and had to stop it. Then started on Sulfasalazine and her RA symptoms actually worsened & she was

Update on: Off MTX. What comes next?
Saw my rheumy yesterday. If I have a flare, I go back to see her right away otherwise in three months. My bloodwork came back good. She does not feel I have PMR but she said it may be osteoarthritis rather than rheumatoid arthritis. My bloodwork is not definitive but it is definitely autoimmune according
