From Flecainide and Sotalol to Metoprolol
I have switched from the “plumber” to the “electrician”. He took me off from Flecainide and Sotalol and put me on Metoprolol (25 mg twice a day) and keep having Digoxin through. My energy has improved a bit and, in general, feel much better… I didn’t have the Ablation indicated by my previous cardiologist

Just Been diagnosed with PAF. Advice please.
I have just been diagnosed with PAF & already have HFpEF. I’m going to start taking Edoxaban blood thinner & Nebivolol beta blocker. Is there anyone on this combination? Do I need to be monitored at a anticoagulant clinic or not? Still processing it all.

Blood pressure meds & afib
Is anyone on Bendroflumethiazide for blood pressure along with an anti coagulant? I was on that before af diagnosed, kept my bp within a good range. With the af diagnosis it got changed to bisoprolol. BP not controlled so well, and the drug makes me feel crap even though it’s only 1.25 since earlier

Post cardioversion...heart rate lowering
Cardioversion today. Successful. Horay. Regular heart rate for first time in 17 years. I left hospital with a HR of 55 to 60 and BP 86/55. They expressed a little concern but as I felt fine and usually have lowish blood pressure, and previous to AF HR was around that, it was decided just to keep an

Can anxiety cause bradycardia?
Yesterday I went to a cardiologist, got an ECG and an echocardiogram, results showed nothing, I have a healthy heart although I’ll be followed by a holter monitor to detect when the bradycardia occurs. I tend to be super anxious all the time, I would get palpitations but no one ever mentions it slowing

How does Digoxin work?
I’m still in hospital, where they have decided not to do a dccv and instead give me Digoxin over 24 hours. I’ve had two doses and it isn’t working yet. My heart rate is still around 120 bpm. I’m also taking flecainide 200mg and bisoprolol 5mg. The dr has said I won’t take digoxin at home. A) If the digoxin

Problems with Digoxin
Hi everyone. I have persistent AF, awaiting a cardioversion, and have been prescribed Digoxin as well as 10mg Bisoprolol. The meds are working in as much as my heart rate has slowed down but I feel dreadful on the medication. I appreciate the Bisoprolol makes me very flat and tired most of the time

How do administration of Eligard, Lupron, and Firmagon differ? How are the shots given?
How is administration of Eligard performed? Is it different than Lupron? Is it different than Firmagon? My husband is getting his first 3 month injection of Eligard and he is wondering what to expect. He was previously getting monthly Firmagon shots and for the last four months he's been taking Orgovyx

Hypothyroidism-Lyme disease connection?
Has anyone here with Hashimoto's/hypothyroidism discovered they also have Lyme disease? Or that they've had it for years? A couple of knowledgeable friends have insisted I get checked for it, but the last time I knowingly got a few ticks was back in 1995! And, yes, some of my problems might have started

Going for cryo ablation at Barts on Tuesday and getting more stressed as it gets closer . A question is if I’m in AFIB during/after the ablation will they do cardioversion? Will cardioversion end all Afib symptoms
In addition to AFib I’ve had permanent tightness and pain in chest and back, and laboured breathing for some months now. Will these symptoms go away if my cardioversion is successful?
