Atrial Fibrillation.
Hi I have had atrial flutter followed by a atrial fibrillation for approx 4 years. Medication I have tried has not been helpful and I take only an anticoagulant every day. I have bouts of af, of which I am fully aware, approx 3-4 times a week, when the heart jumps between 37 and 167 for 2 to 4/5 hours

Paroxymal Atrial Fibrillation
I was diagnosed with paroxymal AF in 2017 I was given 1.25mg Bisoprolol to start with and then in time, I gravitated to 5mg. Since last month the af went out of sync, I am now on 7.5mg Bisoprolol and the increased dose has not been helping greatly. On the 14/11 I had to go to A&E as I had chest pain.

IV placement in hands when you have Scleroderma & Raynaud's
Hello, I am undergoing Rituxan infusions for ANCA vasculitis, systemic sclerosis (scleroderma) & mixed connective tissue disorder. The IV is in place an average of 6 to 8 hours. Rheumatologist & dermatologist told me NOT to have IV placement in my hands due to high gangrene/ulcer/etc. risk. There

Flutter 7 Days after Typical Flutter Ablation
Wondering if anyone who has had a typical atrial flutter ablation has experienced flutter in the days/weeks following the ablation and how things eventually worked out? I had a right-side ablation for typical atrial flutter a week ago. Last night I had a 2-3 minute episode of what looks to be flutter

Monster Returns
Without provocation (no triggers), I startled awake in Afib which turned into tachycardia and has continued for 48 hours now. So after a respite of nine months from my FOURTH ablation [& coming off flecainide (due to left bundle block), but still on metoprolol ER, amlodipine, and Xarelto], I’m beginning

Anyone have experience with a Rituxan IV Infiltration?
Hello Everyone, Question: What are effects of Rituxan IV infiltration? Infiltration: IV medication leaks out of vein into the surrounding tissue. This infiltration was for more than 1.5 hour of a 7 hour infusion. December - Rituxan infusion - IV required 8, yes 8, attempts to start the IV. This

New to Site after Shock Diagnosis of AF
I would like advice from those on the forum with similar experiences of the AF journey. I am newly diagnosed and feeling pretty scared. In particular I'd like to know how long it took most people to get the right meds and dosages. I was started on Bisoprolol 2.5mg but because I was still symptomatic

pneumonia again
so I have pneumonia for the second time this year. I’m on mtx, etanercept and pred. My first bout was in march, shortly after starting the etanercept, I thought I’d pulled a muscle for about a month and then it turned out it was pneumonia. Currently I’m a week in to the second bout (different lung)

Something new for bank holiday
Suddenly felt heart going funny and thought I was about to go into Afib. Checked with kardia after a few minutes and it said tachycardia. Over the last 2 hours I’ve fluctuated between brief Afib attacks (about 4 times), all in the mid 80 hr for only a few minutes with tachycardia 112-120 the rest of

post ablation questions/reassurance
Hey all! Just had a catheter ablation for my SVT. It was AVNRT and very close to the av node. Had some palpitations post surgery but hoping that's part of recovery. Feeling anxious for sure and fatigued by the evening but hoping it feels all OK soon. It's been just a week

CIRRHOSIS & BREAST CANCER?
My husband, now 84 has been on and off here since his cirrhosis diagnosis post AIH January 2014. He has gone from compensated to decompensated with a 6 month prognosis back to compensated, problems with a large portal vein thrombosis and varices but otherwise remarkably fit and pretty stable. However

Solgar Hawthorn Berry Capsules ? Has anybody taken these ?
Does anybody take any of these capsules? I would really like to hear from people, as to how the capsules helped them and how they got on with them ? I recently started to take the Solgar 484mg Berry Powder . They stopped my symptoms immediately. Ie:- Palpitations, (mostly in the night), occasional fast

I received an insurance denial today for Trelstar Mixject. I was to have an Eligard shot in early December, but Dr office called the day before to reschedule for January 3rd. I was never told that they wanted to take me off Eligard, and why would they change if it is working? Mainly, I have never
