Hey all! Just had a catheter ablation for my SVT. It was AVNRT and very close to the av node. Had some palpitations post surgery but hoping that's part of recovery. Feeling anxious for sure and fatigued by the evening but hoping it feels all OK soon. It's been just a week

post ablation questions/reassurance
Although primarily written about PVI ablation the following link applies to all in general terms.
Hi, I had svt which was found to be avnrt (so I know what this is 😄). In my case all went well. No issues, no meds nothing. A week is early days. Take it very easy for at least another couple of weeks. Good luck.
Perfectly normal to have some flutters during the " blanking period of 3 month's " as your heart recovers from it's trauma. My ablation for avrnt worked well, although I still suffer with ectopic beats. I also have Bradycardia which resulted in my having a pacemaker in 2019 celebrating my 75th birthday this very day. BEST WISHES on your own journey.
It's normal to feel anxious after a procedure - I certainly did! Your heart is beginning to heal now, and some ups and downs are expected. The main thing to do is get a lot of rest. Best wishes.
