Photobiomodulation aka light therapy article in The Weekend Australian
I know several people on this forum have light helmets - some from Tasmania. This article appeared in my FB feed. There was also an article in The Weekend Australian but I believe that to be behind a pay wall. https://surfershealth.com.au/news/2021/05/20/groundbreaking-trial-finds-that-infrared-light-therapy-for-parkinsons-disease-reduces-symptoms-and-improves-the-gut-microbiome

Has anyone experienced painful PVCs or thuds when on the brink of sleep when stressed or just me?
Has anyone experienced when they are in bed say after a long day, after taking in salt, maybe alcohol(stimulants), they are stressed---PVCs? I had two like two big thuds, somewhat painful that shook me in bed and last night and winded me a bit. I breathed and coughed(vagal maneuver) and my heart was

Ectopic Snowball Effect
Hi, I've been reading here for a couple of years but this is my first post. I found the forum when, almost 2 years ago, I suddenly had a lot of ectopic heartbeats. I was in the shower and stressed out and they just suddenly started. I was having stomach pain at the time (stress) and after a couple

Newly ectopic
Hi, I have been lurking here a few weeks. I was glad to find this community. 3.5 weeks ago woke at 4am feeling horrendous with my heart thudding in my chest. Ended up going to GP and to hospital, told by both that I had an ectopic beat. I felt like death warmed up - had no energy for two weeks. Gradually

Hello! Last May I was put on thyroid medication and started having PVC’s. After getting dizzy one day and having my heart rate spike to 145. My heart rate was generally in the 90s-110. My cardiologist was shocked to find I was on medication, because my thyroid levels were all within range. He took

Pvc burden has dropped, is it enough?
I just recently had another Holter monitor and my PVC burden has dropped from 12.9% to 4.1% .. is that enough ? How bad is a 4.1% in 24 hours?

Anybody have this?
I used to have pvc’s all the time...for years. Now I have this thing where my heart beats at it’s regular pace, and then it speeds up for 2-4 beats, then slows back down. No symptoms. No SOB. No pain. No dizziness. Anyone experience this??

Carrying on with Art with PD?
This is my husbands latest project. All his own drawings which he loves doing, now adding colour. Making a slide show took some doing. It’s like meditation for him and is very absorbing. He’s managed to do this all whilst looking after me as well, I’ve just had a second total knee replacement! He

Heart Arrhythmia
Hello all. I have a question that maybe someone can answer. Most of the time my heart beats fine. Steady and around 60 BPM. There are times though that it will out of the blue beat 8 or 10 times in a row fast. Just speeds up for no reason and then will go back to normal slow rhythm. Does anyone know

Surgery/Anesthesia with PVCs?
I'm curious if anyone has had surgery with a history of bigeminy/PVCs? Is there any risk? I need cataract surgery--so not general anesthesia--but I think they use propofol? Is another EKG required? Thanks in advance!

Confused after appointment with EP
I had an episode on April 15th where my heart went into a fluttering type feeling that took my breath away and lasted for 10 seconds. It felt exactly the way my PVCS feel but instead of a quick flutter and done, it just kept going and scared the crap out of me. I do have a loop recorder and so I pushed

Red Light Therapy?
Has anyone here tried red light therapy? If so, what were your experiences. There are so many devices, each one seems to have a slightly different nm range. I've seen devices from 660 & 850 to 620, 670, 760, 830nm. There's even one with 670 & 810. And, I'm sure many more. Is there research on which one
