I used to have pvc’s all the time...for years. Now I have this thing where my heart beats at it’s regular pace, and then it speeds up for 2-4 beats, then slows back down.
No symptoms. No SOB. No pain. No dizziness.
Anyone experience this??

I am definitely not a doctor but I have suffered from PACs, PVCs, and SVTs for a couple years now. When I have an SVT episode my heart speeds up to around 158 bpm or higher for around 4-5 beats. You might want to ask your doctor if you can wear a monitor for a little while to try and capture it. Hope you figure it out.
If u haven't had a thyroidectomy or RAI, the Graves could be getting active again.
Best wishes
Sure do! Quite often. Dr. saw it on my heart monitor and said it's nothing..
Any idea what causes it? My arrhythmia seems to be directly tied to my TSH levels.
Normally, it doesn't bother me at all. Every now and then I get a lot of it and it causes anxiety. Does this happen to you too??
I had my thyroid removed a year ago (cancer). When my Levo med was too high, my heart would go CRAZY!!! The Dr. lowered it and the episodes weren't as bad, but I still have them. My Dr. also told me they come in clusters for me..no rhyme or reason. Just something that happens. He keeps reassuring me that they are harmless and I won't die from it. I've have PSVT, SVT, TYPICAL ATRIAL FLUTTER, PVCS, PACS, Arrhythmias and who knows what else..but I've been through so many tests and I am still told my heart is very strong and healthy! It must be to have gone through e'thing for 40 years!
I have Graves disease. Had it for 22 years. First symptom I had was PVCs and then SVT. Atenolol keeps my hr low but my TSH fluctuates and so do my arrhythmias. It's so frustrating!!
My Endo started me on selenium to stabilize my thyroid function and I take magnesium citrate to help alleviate these danged arrhythmias!! Just started so...we shall see.
Had SVT episodes last year and given medication (also menopausal) - at every A&E visit Drs found nothing wrong - had ECG, Echo and Holter - recently increased palpitations diagnosed with two mild stenoses - recently had an angiogram and a stent put in - insist on having this fully investigated by your Dr
