Very interesting interview of one of the Australian researchers involved in the study about to be published. Sounds positive.

Poo & Red lights. Who could ask for more? It's been my core approach since I discovered photobiomodulation.

I have been using a combination of the duo coronet light helmet, and the therapad applied to my abdomen, and as I have noted on other redlight threads on this forum, have been getting results consistent with those hinted at here

As to what was "hinted at", I understood Prof. Kiat to say that everyone improved, and the improvements were significant. I'm looking forward to seeing the paper.

beginning at minute 35...."EVERYONE....some improvement....in something..different things" if they use our laser.

Don't let the fact Ann liebert is a laser girl cause you to throw the baby out with the bathwater. I'd wait to see whats published before I jump to conclusions

WP,

just a minute. I am very positive about t-PBMT as well as i-PBMT (probably more so!). I was just repeating what was said. Also, he somehow used a laser along with the Vielite which he didn't go into in any detail. Confounding variable? or must both be used?

the only drawback I see is everything I've read suggests it's (t-PBMT) impact is "cognition" related, not motor related. Most PD is motor related until the LB dementia stage late in the cycle.

Like I say, be interesting to see a proper paper. I can't find my source now, but I bought and use the wellred therapad on my abdomen because I read something about this trial. I think there are several groups including a placebo one or more. In addition to the red light helmet they treat the abdomen with a hand held red light wand "laser" routinely used in the clinic for treating muscles and bonesirradia.com/products/mid-laser

sharoncrayn profile image
sharoncrayn in reply toWinnieThePoo

#1 yes, it was a laser they held to various parts. this study used both a laser and t-PBM head unit (I think).

#2 a study used the 610 pad on the sternum for a spinal cord injury.

Sound like motor symptoms

handwriting improvement? I await actual examples. Improvement lies in the eyes of the beholder.

Jim reported that his illegible handwriting became normal and his sense of smell was restored after using the Coronet for 4 months

As we said. It'll be interesting to see the formal study results. But as I have also said, the hints in this interview are entirely consistent with my own direct personal experience. And jimcasters, and other forum participants.

We have an unfair advantage over you and your research institute perspective. We have parkinson's disease. 2 unfair advantages since we have also tested photobiomodulation at first hand in the treatment of parkinson's disease

sharoncrayn profile image
sharoncrayn in reply toWinnieThePoo

yes and no. I see 120+ pwp every month (for 11 years) face to face. you don't. jim doesn't.

my PD uncle will try red hat this month in my case study. I may also to enhance my cognition.

handwriting samples in small case study (n=5) were abysmal. very little improvement. forgot citation.

I found a SAD lamp on the skin enacts Sulphates in Sulphones(so the theory goes). I used it to unblock my Spleens blood supply after it got overwhelmed by toxins after a few months of L-Plantarum on an empty stomach once a fortnight!

I had a lot of Cadmium come out after the probiotic repaired my Epithelial layers.

I believe the body intelligently releases toxins as and when it can. 3 years on I am seeing the end of multiple toxic metal eliminations I believe I encountered!

I also found the light therapy effectiveness stopped if my Suphur level was low, this was even on a Sulphur rich diet and NO exercise! Epsom salts saved my life.

I found the white light therapy very very potent. I started for 30 seconds, but came to the studies conclusion that 20 mins max was ok. It only took 3 sessions but gave me local psoriasis(from the Cadmium in that area) that started off like a Lime target. It makes you wonder.

Now I have cured many friends of long term psoriasis and IBS though an easy to understand approach so cunning that it doesn’t work if the approach isn’t followed.

Thanks for sharing on new tech.

Millbrook profile image

How much boron does one have to take? I saw on YouTube that prunes can increase bone mineral density and reverse bone loss because prunes contain boron, magnesium, potassium etc. Most interesting was a short clip by prune producer saying that they supplied NASA prunes and prune powder for astronauts.

Is white light necessary for people who live in the tropics?

Incidentally L plantarum is what PS128 is. In the Taiwanese study PWP saw substantial improvement after 3 months of PS128

couldn't you just set the helmet on your abdomen?

WinnieThePoo profile image
WinnieThePoo in reply tomblongdon

Probably you could use the helmet. But the therapad was relatively inexpensive, convenient, and useful for other injuries

jimcaster profile image

I'm just curious, Winnie. Do you use the hat and the therapad at the same time?

Yup. Both together. Be there all day otherwise 😂

HiI

’m checking out threads on photobio-modulation

Could you please let me know how long and how many times a day/week do you use the coronet as well as the therapad?

Thanks much

A very good video. I was nodding in agreement throughout the discussion and forwarded it to a relative I've been helping with similar recommendations. I especially agree with complementary and synergistic therapeutic effects and the importance of the gut microbiome along with the need to modify one's diet for a favorable microbiome shift.

Great interview. There is one thing he said, though, that was a bit wrong. TMAO isn't caused by eating just any protein, only protein found in animal products. Vegans don't have any TMAO. Here's why:

nutritionfacts.org/video/ho...

Otherwise, a great interview, and as a PWP I've just ordered a red light helmet called the Coronet Duo, produced by a small company in Australia called Well Red. The helmet used in the study was apparently a Vielight model, which costs 2 or 3 times as much as Well Red's. Here's a link to Well Red's site and some info about their Coronet's design: wellred.com.au/the-design

sharoncrayn profile image
sharoncrayn in reply toJerMan22

" Vegans don't have any TMAO. " They certainly have TMAO, but very low levels. The other issue is specifically red meat protein versus all other forms of animal protein.

Also,TMAO is thought to be positive and constructive by some researchers. I believe the issue is "the level" within the microbiome.

1) Microscopic insights into the protein-stabilizing effect of trimethylamine N-oxide (TMAO)

2) The Molecular Mechanism of Stabilization of Proteins by

TMAO and Its Ability to Counteract the Effects of Urea

rescuema profile image
rescuema in reply toJerMan22

It's more about gut microbiome population ratios and what you feed them to shift the balance. For example, if a vegan eats enough soy lecithin, TMAO will increase.

This was a post I made about my husbands improvement and interest in Art. He’s now produced four short videos with his art work on YouTube. What I’ve noticed is that all this improvement came about after using his red light hat. Better mood and increased positiveness. Still able to keep walking every day, cut down on C/L.. Latest visit to Neuro, was impressed with low meds especially after 9 years of PD and ability to walk properly so something must be helping.

the cheap red light toys are WORTHLESS. they will NOT penetrate into the substania nigra.

They don't even penetrate the SKULL!

WATCH this entire video (about 9 minutes) from an M.D. and D.C. doing clinical lab studies with PMB.

They are NOT salesman.

WATCH the video from two neuro scientists who tested with a lamb's brain and PMP.

I've only read '1' PMB study that showed positive effects on PD and it required the subjects to wear '3' PMB devices at the same time!

So I hope you have an extra $12,000 to spend to see if it works for you.

And how far is the substantia nigra from the scalp? And which red light are you suggesting can penetrate that far? So wtf has that got to do with anything? You clearly don't understand the subject
