I had a thoracic
aneurysm
repaired and my
aortic
valve replaced 18 months ago. The job is done now and, so long as I remember to take my Warfarin, I don't see any ongoing health risk. 2. If I restrict my travel to Europe now will my GHIC card give me all the cover I need?

This with also discovering my close uncle has got

has scared me a little. He declined surgery a few years ago due to being scared and now is in process of arranging to go on list with surgeon. This has scared me quite a lot.

AFIB (has (possibly) Saved my life!
Yes - unbelievably AFIB ihas been a potential life saver as it uncovered a potentially life-threatening condition, this being a Dilated
Aortic
Root (which can develop into a thoracic
aneurysm
) This was found during a precautionary coronary angiogram prior to a cryoablation I had on 18th May performed

Abdominal pain from shots?
I have had constant upper abdominal pain for two weeks. I had been titrating my sc injections because of side effects. I use hydroxy. When I did a 500 mcg. dose the abdominal pain started that day. I waited ten days to do my next shot and only too 250 mcg. My abdominal pain is the same. Nothing else

Not breathless but more wheezy.
As i've posted before my first bouts of Afib were after my Open Heart Surgery for a Thoracic Ascending
Aortic
Aneurysm
in April 2019 whilst in hospital. I had no real heart issues though. I had Afib again 3 weeks later when I was readmitted with pneumonia and sepsis.

Can't seem to get anywhere
I was then diagnosed with a Thoracic Ascending
Aortic
Aneurysm
and the Consultant put all the Thyroid stuff on the back burner. So I had Open Heart Surgery April 2019 to repair the Aneurysm. During a follow up MRI for my heart they noticed my thyroid was still swollen.

Right sided pain.
A strange one I had OHS 2 years ago for a Thoracic Ascending
Aortic
Aneurysm
at the root. Had AFIB and Tachycardia in the following months. But no real issues since on the heart side. Have spent the last 2 weekend in hospital after a Cranial CSF Leak repair.

4.5 (last year). Bicuspid

Disability Benefits
Hi, this is my first post on here I am a 73-year old male, I have an Abdominal
Aortic
Aneurysm
and unfortunately, it is too dangerous to have an operation, the last check it was 6cm so basically once it ruptures I will die.
