I will be having cataract surgery 8 th September and I have a dental appointment 2 weeks later for a filling will that be OK or do I need to put dental treatment back.

I think you should be OK.
I had a cataract op last year and the very next day I discovered a big hole in one of my teeth!
Got it quickly checked out and the dentist prepped the tooth for an inlay restoration 12 days later. I did have some issues with photophobia and uveitis after the eye op but the dental treatment didn't make any difference.

Hello. You should be fine to attend your dental appointment. You might have a follow-up appointment post cataract surgery, but just let your hospital know of your pre-existing appointment.
