Never ending rash!!
I had shingles in June - which lasted for a few months rather than the normal 6 weeks!! In September I went to my gp ( all the Nhs websites said no need to go to gp to be diagnosed as nothing they can prescribe) as the rash was going nowhere. I also had developed different types of rashes elsewhere

itchy scalp and benepali??
When I first started on this in march I took
antihistamines
for hay fever, so only noticed problems with sinuses as a side effect. How are others doing with itching, it does affect my skin too some days but I have always had really sensitive skin anyway.

Antihistamine
Have allergic reaction to post op dressing which I must try to keep on until Thursday. Rang nurse at hospital and she suggested trying Piriton to calm irritation. Although of course they knew of my steroid history last week, I didn't ask the nurse on the end of the phone today if it was ok to take

Winter rhinitis and non-allergic asthma?
Has anyone else had this in the winter despite the
antihistamines
/sprays? I have never been one for sinus issues and it's not painful, just annoying, and I don't want it to make the asthma any more of a pain. I get it at work and home and elsewhere so I'm unsure of the trigger.

Found this article on healthy eating forum so thought I would pass it on
This article ("What Happens if You Eat Raw Onions Every Day"), was published originally on the FoodPrevent.com website. The article explains how eating a raw onion a day can help with certain health conditions (cardiovascular health, type 2 Diabetes, lower cancer risks, etc.). Please see below for more

My top tips for coping with asthma
Find out what the triggers are and try to avoid or minimise these e.g I take
antihistamines
every day even if it’s not hayfever season 3. Try not to panic and let it stop you doing the things you want to do.

Update on eczematous rash and/ or hives (?) after 10 weeks on Hydroxychloroquine...
I've had numerous
antihistamines
and countless skin creams, none of which have worked more than 25% of the time. I'm now on three weeks of Prednisone and Fexofenadine (antihistamine); I ve been on the latter for a month.

Hypo to Hyper
Hi I have gone hyper after changing my meds to tiremol. I have cut the dose down the last couple days but still couldn't sleep. I have probably had about 2 hours sleep last night. I have tried antihistamine and natural sleeping aid tabs. It still doesn't work. I still can't sleep. Why would I go hyper

Sleep or lack of!!
I give painkillers and
antihistamines
to reduce pain and itching. He listens to sleep meditation tape. We use a conveen twice a week but he can not tolerate this in bed and rips it off ( ouch) so he gets up at least 2hrly to pee. Sometimes he gets up thinking he needs to pee but can’t.

When life throws you a curveball ... not my best day!
Antihistamines
and creams all weekend, but it still looks (and feels) angry today and is far too sore to wear any sort of bra unless I stay absolutely still (wearing no bra and moving around is NOT a pretty option, but was absolutely necessary to do any work today - disguised under two layers of baggy

How to stop an itch?
It’s not really about my asthma this time, but asthma and allergies are totally related so someone may have an idea 😅 I’m currently sitting here having a reaction to substance unknown (which seems to happen to me a lot 🙄), luckily this time it’s mainly effecting my eyes! I usually get by, by taking

Baclofen and new meds
Hi wondering if anyone has any advice. I have cough variant asthma brought on by temperature below 10 degrees. I saw professor Allyn Maurice just over a year ago (he’s a cough professor at Hull) he prescribed Baclofen which I now take (60mg per day) apparently it’s not easily tolerated, side effects
