Hello, for the past 2 months I've felt tired all the time during the day, i have muscle and joint aches, my skin gets rashes easily, especially when i scratch it, I used to have hives but I keep them under control with antihistamines, my veins became more proeminent than before, I have chest pain and my heart pulse beats hard. All these symptoms except for fatigue come and go, while the fatigue is always present. I've done numerous blood tests and scans, and recently I've discovered that my only abnormal values were TSH 5.2 and eosinophils 6.5%. My FreeT4 is normal, though. Is this severe? I am only 20 years old.

High TSH, normal Free T4, fatigue, pain
Sorry, but just telling us that the FT4 is normal, tells us nothing. 'Normal' is an opinion, not a result, and we need to see the actual result with the range to make any sense out of it.
Your TSH says you are hypo - presumably out of range? But the TSH on its own tells us very little. Have you been started on thyroid hormone replacement? If so, how much?
Sorry for being unclear about this, my free T4 results were 1,18 ng/dl and 15,19 pmol/L and my family has no history of thyroid disease. However, I have never eaten fish or tomatoes in my life, I just can't get myself to like these aliments so I started thinking that iodine defiency could be a reason for my problems, but is that enough to provoke all these body reactions? Also, I’ve had a swollen tonsil for the past 3 months. Not sure if it is related
Hives can be linked to autoimmune thyroid disease diagnosed by high thyroid antibodies
For full Thyroid evaluation you need TSH, FT4 and FT3 plus both TPO and TG thyroid antibodies tested. Also extremely important to test vitamin D, folate, ferritin and B12
Low vitamin levels are extremely common, especially if Thyroid antibodies are raised
Ideally thyroid blood test should be early morning to give highest TSH
I had my TPO and TG antibodies tested now, and TPO came back as 13.19 UI/ml with a normal range of <34 and TG as 20.76 UI/ml with a range of <=115. Does this exclude the case of an autoimmune disease and makes subclinical hypothyroidism my only problem that causes all of these reactions in your opinion? Thank you.
