My psychologist tells me there will be more tx’s available besides meds There are alot of
antidepressants
available now so all of you hang on. We are here for each other because we truely understand when one of us needs our support.

Finding coping strategies - my experience
Sertraline (
) A broken little finger and a foot shaped hole in the cupboard door under the sink later, I decided to give
antidepressants
another chance. I tried a number of
antidepressants
but with awful side effects or just feeling worse.

BUPROPION
Also, if this is the cause of my hair loss, what other
antidepressants
will not aggravate my RLS. They are asleep right now because of the Buprenorphine and I definitely don't want to wake up that ugly monster that resides in me.

My worry is that now I am nearly 50 that things like the menopause or depression will be used to explain away how I feel and I'm terrified that I'll be put on
antidepressants
. I over analyse everything but miss the obvious.

Relationship advice
I have a therapist who I have been with for several years who really helps me through the worst of times and I take
antidepressants
. My husband has retired from work and just works on renovating our old farmhouse, I still work full time as a nurse.

Looking back
Ten years later after two lots of counselling and one cause of CBT and still on 3 different
antidepressants
I couldn't believe that after all this my depression hasn't got better The same feelings of wanting to die (infact suicidal thoughts are more intense), and hating myself haven't gone away.

Instead he suggested to start taking a statin to reduce my cholesterol and start a different
antidepressants
to improve my mood. I can’t help feeling these are a sticky plaster rather than addressing the root cause but at the same time my results don’t support starting thyroid medication.

Endo consultation today for low TSH
I feel OK, though my mood is so bad that I started
antidepressants
again 2 weeks ago and haven't had the "mojo" to look for work in 8 months. I'm not blaming thyroid for that but I know my mood and energy drops when my dosing is off. Results from May 2023 (they are doing more tests today).

starting dosage of levothyroxine. GP ignoring Endocrinologist recommendation
And given they doubled my dose of
antidepressants
even though I asked them to read MH related letters and plans which did make me manic rising, I’m wondering if this is the reason? However, they haven’t really cared to look before… I am 40 years old. My antiTG level is over 600.

Dead down below. Asexual?
I am aware that sexual dysfunction is common for women and men on
antidepressants
, and I am curious how other people have handled it. I don't know. Maybe I want to be asexual, but whereas my partner used to think my libido was too high, now they are dissatisfied that my libido is gone.

Double-dose progesterone to control symptoms?
About 4 months ago I started getting very bad nausea almost daily, and IBS symptoms I couldn’t shift (mild diarrhoea, can’t fully empty bowels, bloating and burping, loss of appetite because of the nausea), with a month relief when I started
antidepressants
(citalopram).
