Advice
It says that vex something is sopposed to suppress your appetite which I get very anxious about but I have tried quite a number of
antidepressants
now, I went through a hourrendous withdrawal off fluoxetine and just starting to feel human again now. Any advice would be much appreciated Clare x

Antidepressants
Hi, I’m new to this site app. I’ve been on sertraline for nearly 2 years, dose got doubled to 100mg last November. During lockdown I kept forgetting to take them to the point where I thought stuff it, so I stopped taking them. I feel very irritated and tearful, taking things to heart very quickly.

Feeling Better
I had to go back to therapy, start
antidepressants
, and reach out to family and friends. I have not been able to return to work yet so basically my whole life was upside down. I’m happy to report that although I still feel lonely at times, I am climbing out of the black hole!

Has anyone tried Vortioxetine?
I was wondering if anyone has tried this antidepressant? It's a fairly new one and is not often prescribed. If so did it work for you? My GP has agreed to prescribe it.

Marijuana and mental disorders treatment
Recent research has suggested that cannabinoids could represent a new class of fast-acting
antidepressants
. Cannabis can also provide significant relief for other serious mental illnesses, especially post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

Chronic pain: Antidepressants not painkillers recommended
Doctors are being advised not to prescribe common painkillers, including paracetamol and ibuprofen, for patients with chronic pain not caused by an injury or other medical condition. The National Institute of Health and Care Excellence (NICE) said there was little evidence they help. https://www.bbc.com

Awake at 4:00am, can barely sleep these days.
Been to counseling tried
antidepressants
, read self help, tried things like this site. Although I don’t have the strength to end my life I have thought about dying nearly everyday since the age of ten. Seems most choices I’ve made in life have been bad.

Depression That Became Severe For First Time at Age of mid-50’s
Has anyone here ever dealt well with lifelong depression, & then suddenly experienced severe depression in mid-life, or really any time later in their life? I was a fully functioning human - mother, wife, sister, friend, employee - taking a single antidepressant with occasional dose or med changes,

Medications and Questions
I’ve been trying different
antidepressants
for about 15 years at this point. Currently on sertraline and bupropion with an emergency stash of lorazepam. Why is this not enough? When will it be enough? What even is enough? Is this as good as it gets? How will I ever know?

I want to stop but I need to taper off. I was only on the lowest

New to antidepressants
I am currently taking an antidepressant but have only been on it for 6 days. My anxiety is worse and I have headaches. My spouse is angry with me. She just wants me to read a book on how to feel good.

Unwanted effects of psychotropic drug interactions with medicinal products and diet supplements containing plant extracts
This is very interesting and goes through interactions with some of the common herbals and
antidepressants
etc. also the pathways they work on. Shows it is crucial to be aware of what ingredients are in supplements.

Desperate for help for Dad
Hi, This is my first post so please bear with me if the post is long. My Dad, who is 77 yrs old but as fit and active as a 50 yr old (or was) has had an underactive thyroid for 26 years. Never had a problem, only one dose increase in all that time. A year ago he started to feel poorly, dizzy, sick, exhausted
