Hi,

I’m new to this site app.

I’ve been on sertraline for nearly 2 years, dose got doubled to 100mg last November.

During lockdown I kept forgetting to take them to the point where I thought stuff it, so I stopped taking them.

I feel very irritated and tearful, taking things to heart very quickly.

Feel like I’m putting misery on my family.

I am overweight and so fed up with piling on the pounds taking the tablets.

Anyone else had this side effect?

Hey, I’m on sertraline and found it to be one of the only meds that I take that doesn’t make me put on extra weight.

Maybe you could consider the pros and cons of taking the sertraline and make a decision as to whether you might need to restart taking them.

I’m not a professional, just a woman who’s been on most of the SSRI’s over the years so talking from my personal experience. xx

Thankyou Catherine, I need to get back on them. Just very down with the way I physically feel at the moment as well all the other bits and pieces going round in my head. Thanks for taking the time to reply 😘
