with this drug sometimes less is best ! If u can find a good daily antidepressant then mirtazapine is super at nite : I personally wouldn’t recommended during the day with this med : 45mg is extreme 30ng is helpful but with lesser more potent anti depressive meds mixed then I recommended 15 mg - at night - just what I’ve experienced in the nhs & being a sufferer

I agree that less is more re Mirtazepine at night. I used it for sleep for 3 years.However I didn't realize it has a more sedative affect at lower doses until I stopped taking it.

I found I was more awake & had more energy despite having M.E... for me personally, stopping Mirtazepine has improved my quality of life but naturally it was a life saver 3 years ago for which I'm forever grateful.

There's always this delicate balance in life & this is just my experience.
