Episode 2 how to heal your gut heal your brain.
Yesterday’s one on
antidepressants
was good. Here is episode 2, available for 24hr https://depressionanxietyseries.com/episode2-live There is a bit of an ad near the beginning but mostly good stuff! Quite a lot of repetition from the GMO series and microbiome series.

Massive dip.. dunno why.
My
antidepressants
were helping and I felt better and happier and was being sociable and fun but seem to have taken a nose dive back down and don't know why. I dont want to go out or see anyone but my partner who I live with.

Has anyone taken this medication? My neurologist says when you combine with gabapentin, it helps with the neuropathy pain in feet and legs. I don’t like being on an antidepressant but would like some relief with the pain.

Lost and scared
My partner has been abusive mentally and emotionally for a good 4 years (please don’t judge, I wanted to leave but to scared to) calling me a cunt of a thing and a fuckwit etc in front of our son we had a massive argument and he told me to get the fuck out the house. I left with my 1 year old son. Now

I'm new here
I've been on
antidepressants
and anxiety medication since I was in my late 20's. Though I believe they don't do much...I have never seem to get along with anyone for very long, my adult children have finally gave up on me. I've never really had any close friends.

Alcohol while on antidepressants
What experiences or advice do you guys have regarding drinking alcohol while on
antidepressants
? I realize that technically, the two shouldn't be combined, but most people I know who are on
antidepressants
still drink alcohol.

Starting treatment
In the past
antidepressants
have not been the answer for me as I seem to get every side effect going . I have been having talking therapy which gp recommended. I feel very afraid of starting treatment which I know isn't unusual but on top of everything else I don't think I can cope.

Mirtazapine Withdrawal 2019
Few weeks ago I decided I wanted to try coming off
antidepressants
and see if I could manage life without it. I was on 30mg of Mirtazapine for about 6 months. Doctor said we would taper 30mg - 15mg - 7.5mg and then 0 over the course of 3 weeks.

Lithium for Depression
I have heard that Lithium can affect thyroid function. I am aged 35 and have been taking thyroid hormones since aged 16 due to Hashimotos Disease. My psychiatrist wants me to trial Lithium to help my Depression in addition to taking the antidepressant I am on. Is this a good idea, or could it affect

Tips for anxiety? Has anyone been on anxiety medication while pregnant?
I've been known for having anxiety in the past(usually connected with my epilepsy) and have been on
antidepressants
because of it. My anxiety has come back quite bad and I don't feel like I'm coping, I'm not depressed in anyway but am very anxious about anything and everything.
