I am back again sorry if I wrote this last night.
almost a month ago I had a cardioversion and it was amazing. I have been dealing with a heart rate in the 150s since the end of April. When I woke up from the CV it was 82. I actually had a smile as I awoke. I did not even know my heart rate was down yet so maybe it was the drugs lol but I felt happier

Residential treatment center and Prozac
Tuesday, I'm supposed to go to a residential treatment center. I started prozac two days ago. I've had chest pains since yesterday morning, so for today he lowered my dose. Still have them. Other side effects I have are more common; Anxiety, Emotional paralysis, like inertia, I just can't do anything

My daughter thinks I should see my GP for
antidepressants
to calm me down but I wouldn’t take them if he gave me them. Could it be the meds or am I just going bonkers?

Losing hope
I've been feeling worse lately, more anxiety and depression. I take gabapentin for anxiety and that has helped a lot vs where I was a few months ago. My new doctor prescribed Trintellix for depression and this is the third antidepressant I've tried. I started feeling better at first with 5mg, now it's

Sertraline
I think I know what everyone is going to say but does anyone have anything positive to say about sertraline and restless legs? If anybody followed my previous post I have stage 4 breast cancer and need a mild antidepressant to help me cope. Having chatted with my GP we both feel I would benefit more

stories to help others
I am currently writing a book on adult adhd in the hope of helping others navigate its challenges. I was diagnosed two years ago after years of therapy for anxiety and depression. It was an “ah-ha” moment for me when my therapist had the epiphany this might be an underlying factor to my anxiety and depression

2nd update on panic attacks. Sorry I don’t know how to update the original.
I read an article first thing stating people on
antidepressants
are having difficulty regulating their body temperature so I’ve decided that I’m not going to take the pills until I’ve tried a few more avenues. The GP said I could try either the pills or therapy or both.

No evidence found that depression is linked to chemical imbalance

Antidepressants
have been prescribed for 70 years. That's a long time to give people a drug they don't need. How long will it be before they realise B12 or other B vitamin deficiencies can cause low feelings and run a blood test first?

Sertraline
hi everyone, does anyone else take Sertraline. My doctor prescribed it to try and help me with whatever. I took one then looked at the paper in the box and the part of it about other medications was four of mine. I messaged her yesterday and she said this was the antidepressant choice for cardiac patients

Long Term Zoloft/Sertraline, or other SSRI Treatment, might increase Coronary Artery Atherosclerosis and stroke risk
Effects of Long Term Zoloft/Sertraline Treatment and Depression on Coronary Artery Atherosclerosis in Premenopausal Female Primates. This study was done on female monkeys only. Thus, it might be safe to assume that male monkeys would have had similar results. These results could be caused by depression
