stress induced gastritis
I am 4 days into half dose of my antidepressant then I move up. I am on 80 mg of stomach stuff the knot is gone… but now bouts of severe indigestion that trigger my head. Its been a week. Has anyone had their stomach go crazy for longer then a week? I also have health anxiety. This truly is a nightmare

Coping tips needed please
If anyone is on
antidepressants
have they helped? I’m finding it so hard to stop overthinking everything or to see any light at the end of the tunnel.

Taking
antidepressants
and calming medicine. Trying to figure out how to keep it together as the accident affected my focus/concentration levels making grad school life challenging. Would appreciate any guidance on what has helped/worked for others.

Advice on next steps please
Like many of us I have always suffered with anxiety and was put on
antidepressants
in my early 20s. I only take 25mg of sertraline these days but don't think it does much. I also have CPTSD from attachment trauma of that's useful to know.

All due to TMJ?
Itried for over a year to get GPS to refer me but they kept telling me not necessarily as it was just anxiety and put me on
antidepressants
. I then started to become ill with various other problems and was always dismissed with just anxiety.

Left me feeling yet again that it's all in my head, maybe I've got early dementia or I really need those
antidepressants
the doctors suggest, I really hope not. Thank you as always.

Tricyclic antidepressants , amitriptyline in particular, delay the need for dopaminergic therapy in early Parkinson’s disease.
This observation suggested to the researchers that treatment with tricyclic
antidepressants
may delay the need to initiate dopamine therapy for Parkinson’s.

Spoke to nephrologist.
I mentioned the
antidepressants
and the constant uti but he seemed to think that would be no problem. The only trouble is I can't get regular blood tests via the NHS because they don't want to pay for them - so it s every 6 months - things could go really wrong in that time and you wouldn't know.

Worried!
I started experiencing palpitations last year and didn’t worry too much. They seemed to start after I had the Covid jab followed by Covid itself. I went to my GP several weeks ago about the palpitations. As I was taking a low dose antidepressant ( Citalopram) with a PPI, my GP arranged an ECG. In the

18 year old struggling with ectopics (PVC’s) daily
When i originally went to my GP about it, he immediately prescribed
antidepressants
(Sertraline/Zoloft) when I had NO HISTORY that suggested I needed them. They did not address the root cause and the antidepressant made things worse. I guess I just want to know I’m not alone at this point.

I don’t know what she will suggest I try now (probably
antidepressants
, as they have been mentioned before)but I desperately need to be able to sleep and cannot with this condition. Any suggestions what I can ask Dr for? I am in the UK so don’t think Opiods will be considered.
