I’m loosing a lot of hair on my head but it’s growing longer on my body, eye brows and eye lashes. Is this the blood

The joys of anticoagulation hoho
I have found that the problem with
anticoagulants
is not that a clot won’t form but it is very delicate and friable. Saga warning! As my daughter is between homes her mountain bike is parked in our seriously overstuffed garage.

Scared after Heart Attack and 3 Stents
I had a serious Heart Attack on July 13th and received (2) stents - 52 year old male. On July 30th, I received a third, due to some additional blockage found. The 3rd stent was scheduled and not under emergency conditions. Overall, my Cardiologist was pleased and said all (3) stents were working well

My Bleed
Someone has asked on this forum today about the risk of a bleed through taking
anticoagulants
and that has prompted me to tell my story. I could not go through that again, would honestly rather shoot myself. Should it happen again I can tell you I would never take
anticoagulants
again.

anticoagulants (Lixiana 60 mg) edoxaban and liver cirrhosis
Hello everyone, I'm so confused and need your advice please. it's been for sometimes that I get kind of palpitation, I went through some tests, and the result was having an extra beat which happens sometime. I've been given Bisoprolol 1.25 mg for AF or my palpitation, which I took it for nearly 2 months

AF and Pancreatic lesions increase need for anticoaggulants
The EP wants the ablation done asap to get me off
anticoagulants
in case of surgery. They also plan to implant an event monitor to watch for recurrence of arrhythmias. Has anyone else been told that pancreatic disease increases your stroke risk?

Testing
Has anyone been tested for the coronavirus. I got 2 letters asking me to do a test at home then send it off. But as soon as I said I was on blood thinners they said I couldn't be tested as it could cause bleeding. As far as I know it was just a swab.

Thick blood question please
When I went to hospital yesterday to have the sst test done The nurse kept saying she was struggling to get the blood samples as my blood was so thick. She was very patient and just kept massaging my arm and fingers to try and get the blood flowing so I’ve no complaints about her she was great.Would this

Shoe always dropping, what’s new
So despite Ryan’s miracle of a scan, his blood work came back (they still let him receive his infusion on Monday) though blood work came out 10 mins after he was finished, and his red blood cells have dropped further than they ever have been, and he is so iron depleted. The next morning (Tuesday) he

Change of blood thinner...
Hi, I'm feeling a little apprehensive! Yesterday I said goodbye to Warfarin and because my blood was too thin to start Apixaban right away, I've to wait until tomorrow morning before I can take another blood thinner, so hoping a couple of days without a blood thinner will not be a problem? Checking

D-ribose
On my post about using D-ribose in place of metoprolol. How much do you know to take? How many times a day. Do you take a blood thinner and still take it with the D-ribose. Thanks for any info.

D DIMER TEST and GGT levels
You have all been great on here the past week and I have got another question. I have got my blood results from last week when I was in A and E. They did a D Dimer test which came back as high and indicates a blood clot which is why I then had a CT scan and thankfully I don't but it still indicates blood

Wondering ...
My last afib attack was approximately seven months ago. I feel exceedingly fit and strong. I had a cardio version and was put on a blood thinner. Eliquis. I feel as though my afib has gone bye bye. Query. Is it possible that blood thinners somewhat PREVENT afib? Or is it possible that a cardio
