A worrying problem
Hi everyone. I am new here but maybe you could advise me on a worrying condition. All treatment has failed but now the oncologist has told me that the 2 tumors in the breast may come through the skin and if they do i will bleed a lot as i am on blood thinners. Has this happened to any of you please?

5th BFN - what next?
Unfortunately my 5th transfer ended in a BFN again. 5 failed implantations. I threw everything at this one and don’t feel like I’ve left anything uncovered. Curious to see if anyone might have recommendations of another test / something to do differently? What I’ve done: - PGS tested embryo - ERA

Asking for a friend -
Good afternoon everyone. I wondered if anyone could recommend an EP in the Deeside/north Wales area. I am trying to help out a friend who is too shy to come on here and ask herself. Diagnosed AFIB and I believe a flutter. But been waiting 8 months to see a cardiologist, so she doesn't really know

I have a favor to ask of everyone.
I have always been a person to see the glass half full. Someone who believes in the power of positive thinking and that good old law of attraction. You know, like the days when you’re running late for work and you hit every red light and your whole day seems to follow suit. Or the days you hit all those

Update on Cryoablation 3 weeks ago.
After being extremely nervous about the ablation I finally had it done and it really wasn't that big a deal. I was totally knocked out so do not remember anything and felt fine when I woke up. The next day I noticed my neck and chest/stomach area felt just a little sore, almost like I did too many sit-ups

Sanjay Gupta and anticoagulants
If that is the case why are all women over the age of 75 with a base score of 2 on the ChadVasc index, (i.e. because of their age alone, even if they have no other risk factors and not even suffering from Afib), not on
anticoagulants
!!!

Why is my incision still draining?
On November 18th I had back surgery, an L3-L4 laminectomy, and an L4-L5 discectomy. Everything went like clockwork for the first two weeks or so, then the incision started to drain. Not so much at first, then it started draining so much serosanguinous fluid, I was forced to use feminine napkins to

Pradaxa Ahead Of Scheduled Cryo Ablation
I have been scheduled for my first Cryo Ablation in March for my paroxysmal AF and my EP wants me to start taking Pradaxa 30 days before. My Cardiologist has had me on Aspirin for the past 2-3 years. My ChadVas score was 1 but for the past year is 2 and I've never taken a blood thinner before. My question

Colonoscopy still waiting
I am really fed up. I was referred by my surgery because of a positive fit test. A two week pathway. Within a couple of days got a call from the hospital and answered their questions. Then a week later I had a CT scan. A phone call came re the colonoscopy . As I am on blood thinners she said I would

The Scratch & NK Cells Treatment
I was just wondering what everyone's views are on getting the scratch during IVF? I'm also having treatment this time for NK cells. Did anyone have side effects from steroids and blood thinners? Thanks 🙂

Successful ablations and no medications eventually?
Hi All, I’m hoping to get put on an (NHS) ablation list of the EP I am seeing in a couple of weeks, if he thinks I am eligible. I am paroxysmal AF and my last episode was November when I came off bisoprolol, which I’d been taking daily since diagnosis. I went back on bisoprolol, which is all I take

Lisinopril and Lipitor
I have high blood pressure and Afib. I had an MRI on my brain and the doctor found I have had a couple of strokes. Thankfully they made my left side numb, but nothing more. I take 20mg of lisinopril a day and 80mg of Lipitor. I am continually nauseated, and my leg muscles are weak. I feel off balance

cryoablation
I recently posted about sore joints. I did some digging on the Eliquis I'm tacking. Ever since I started taking it my joints are getting sore. I think this is my problem. The side effects of strong blood thinners can have this effect. My Dr doesn't want me to stop because I still have heart flips after
