Hi everyone. I am new here but maybe you could advise me on a worrying condition. All treatment has failed but now the oncologist has told me that the 2 tumors in the breast may come through the skin and if they do i will bleed a lot as i am on blood thinners. Has this happened to any of you please? If so what happened and did you get any help? Nice to meet you all.

A worrying problem
I have not had that happen but the tumor I had in the breast was reduced by chemo, but left a big 'dent' in the breast. Someone told me to try using Pink Pepper essential oil, applying several drops, 2-3 times a day. That has helped tremendously with the dent not being so obvious. Pink Pepper is apparently good for breast and lymph health. I'm sorry your treatment hasn't worked yet, but don't give up hope...please!
I pray those tumors don’t burst through the skin. Have you thought about a mastectomy? My tumor came back at the same place as it was before the lumpectomy, burst through the skin and became terribly neurotic and painful to the point we did a mastectomy emergency in Jan on the right breast only to have it fail on two sides of the stitches because the skin was too weak and such. Now I’m miserable in a wound vac trying to get the skin on my chest which has formed a gaping hole , to slowly close together. The dressing changes are excruciating. In hindsight for me, I would have lopped my right girl off a year ago
Thanks for your reply Adele_Julia. I asked the surgeon if he would operate but he said " no there would be too much to do," There is no other treatment available as the chemo had to stop as my heart gave out. Did it bleed much when it came through the skin? The only treatment the oncologist is allowing is radiotherapy for the pain control which I should get a appointment soon. Is there ever anything to do to prevent it happening? The breast is full of spots and blood blisters and the skin is so hard. I feel so sorry for what you are going through. Life doesn't get any easier does it. All the best to you.
Dear One-------------------This is true. This morning, I was thinking about you and the surgery and wondering how it all went down. Then, I opened this website and I read your news with horror at the painful results you have had to go through. S---,F---- and D---! I am so sorry for you. Please keep us all posted on the ultimate repair of that poor breast and of the ultimate and comparative health of you with a breast that no longer hurts. I think that I will enter your name in our church's prayer circle, if that is alright with you. It can only help .Frances
That happened to a friend of mine whose primary bc was diagnosed at the same time as mine, in 2008. She refused a biopsy and did only alternative treatments. When I saw her again in 2018 (I did not have mbc yet), she had breast tumor breakthrough. She had a palliative care doc from then on. It did heal. Palliative doc was wonderful, helped with pain. (She now is doing full treatment after bone mets left her unable to walk; she went on Ibrance and is actually improving.)
Thank you TammyCross that is very reassuring. I didn't know if it would ever heal again once it had broken through. I am very grateful for your reply. All the best to you. 🥰
