Jaw locking while trying to feed. Suggestions?
So I'm not too sure if this is related but i dont think she is in pain UTI as she is on the end of her
antibiotics
. She was also bed ridden for the past 5 days in the hospital, so her legs are a bit stiff. I don't think these are related but thought I would mention it.

Bacterial meningitis post spinal anaesthetic
i was in a coma gcs 8 and treated with
antibiotics
, the hospital have failed to recognise the after affects I suffered, neither did they offer any answers to questions, for example, how did this happen? Does anybody else have experience of the same thing, it is apparently very rare!

Bronchiectasis.. does coughing up some blood in sputum automatically mean that you’re having an exacerbation even if you feel fine?
Just woken to cough up some sputum which has streaks of blood in it 😬 No other symptoms at all so comes as a bit of a shock Can this happen without me needing to start
antibiotics
???? Hoping it’s a one off …

I am in hospital at the moment with a bad bout of diverticulitis, treating with intravenous
antibiotics
,and pain management for my many other health issues. I don’t know that much about diverticulitis and the staff in the hospital mostly too busy to give me any answers .

adult whooping cough
I had a chest infection on top which
antibiotics
have helped. I’m using steam inhalations and a room humidifier but have been told not to use cough syrups. There does not appear to be anything medics can do to help.

Can anyone tell me who is also on humira ever taken an infection whilst on it and did the infection go away on its own or did they need
antibiotics
. Hate bothering doctors as know how busy they are especially with the way things are at the moment with the NHS.

How I recover from tinnitus spikes
litres in 5 hours (every day/ every other day at 550 watts each = around £50 per month electric cost)) – municipal water is treated with chlorine, fluoride and synthetic vitamins, also unless the water is distilled it can’t remove toxins such as heavy metals, medications (such as agricultural run-off;

Heart palpitations at night
I've been to the doctor, had 24 hour heart monitor,
antibiotics
etc but the doctor says my heart is regular so he doesn't think it's that. They do not know what is the cause. It's driving me crazy and I hardly sleep and don't feel well most of the time.

ICU 3 weeks
Hello there, I’m so glad to have found this website, I think it’s just what I need right now. Three weeks ago my Mum was at my house when she had a moment of confusion. She was talking, but not making sense and seemed to struggle to get her words together. What made me concerned was that it didn’t

Ill children
Even more this year where they are taking it turns to be on
antibiotics
for one thing or another. They are 4.5 and 2 both in school/nursery I know they tend to pick stuff up but this is getting ridiculous. It's effecting home life and work.

So they put me on IV
antibiotics
AND IV antivirals. I think four or five. Then after a week in the hospital they sent me to a SNF, for ANOTHER month on these IV MEDS. This has ruined my life. I lost the nerves from the waist down. I cannot feel my feet and am a constant fall risk.

Pregnant and unknown pain
They said they aren't sure what it is but assumed it was a kidney infection and gave me
antibiotics
. They said if that doesn't work (it hasn't) to see my doctor again. Which is impossible because I can't get an appointment!! 😔 Then 3 weeks ago...

Preventative Antibiotics
I'm wondering if any of you (who are on high doses of PRED) have also been prescribed preventative
antibiotics
? I hate to take things I don't need to take, especially when I'm already a space cadet with all this PRED. Thanks for your input.

Frustrated at endo's obsession with TSH when other results point in the opposite direction
During this time, my recurrent UTIs went sky high, both in pain and frequency, and I found myself on almost constant
antibiotics
