New study below. I had a series of posts on inflammation markers a while back. The studies I cited all take the stance that the markers have prognostic value. i.e. if the marker is elevated, one has poorer survival. My attitude is that inflammation can be controlled, & that controlling inflammation

PGS live birth rate per cycle started
Hi everyone. My clinic is recommending PGS to me and I just spoke to their embryologist to gather stats about this "add-on". When talking about PGS, everybody at the clinic suddenly focuses on live birth rate per embryo transferred, which is about 50% in my age range, Vs 24% without PGS. Fair enough

Best NSAID for irritable stomach?
NSAIDs help so much with my joint pain, but they’ve given me ulcers in the past. Any recommendations on what might be gentler on my poor gut? Thanks!

GP referral to fertility clinic (NHS) - Advice
Hi all, I wonder if anyone may be able to give me some advice? Late 2017 I had both Fallopian Tubes removed due to adhesions, and at the time I was not ready to freeze eggs etc as losing my natural fertility as such a young age was quite a shock. I am now at the right point to consider freezing my eggs

Probably losing my lo
Did want to to write here at first, but I really need to talk to someone except my family... Of course, my friends support me, but they can fully understand what I fell now. I have a great mix of emotions and can't even give them names... It is so hard journey for me it took me so many efforts and finally

AMH of 0.6 - next steps?
Hi everyone, I am just looking for some advice really. I had an AMH blood test done which came back as 0.6. I had this blood test around 5 and a half weeks after taking the last of my 3 month dose of the Zoladex injection. My gynae says it might be so low because that is still in my system. What do

Anyone else confused with all this?
So I’m 36, my partner is 41. We’ve been trying for about 18 months and have been referred to the hospital. I had blood tests and a scan at my doctors (which came back as”ok”) and he’s had 2 sperm samples. The first was a bad result as nothing met the normal levels, but the second was good and everything

**SENSITIVE POST**
OTD yesterday at 13dp5dt and yay we got a positive! Over the moon as our first clinic give us less than a 1% chance of success due to my low AMH of 3 and husbands zero sperm count (used frozen). I had 2 blasts put back! One 5AB and 4BB. The test yesterday is showing 3+ weeks. Is this normal at this

Very low AMH 1.5, age 38. Is there even hope?
Hello all, this is my first post. I saw another post saying their AMH was low at 5.. and knowing my own level, my heart has sunk. Is there even hope for me? I am 38, single. A good friend of mine told me about this forum and all the support she got here. I am planning to go abroad (maybe Greece, recommendations

Long/short protocol
Hi guys, Myself and my husband are brand new to this ! I’ve been reading a lot of you discuss long and short protocol and I’m wondering what I’ve been recommended to do? My AMH reading was very high so I’ve been advised to have any viable embryos frozen and transferred later when I naturally ovulate

Lining going down IVF
I’m on my 3rd round of IVF (I have low AMH and endo). And first time on short protocol. My first scan on CD 9 stims day 8 showed my lining at 7.3 and my estrogen was at 2732. Today on CD 11 stims day 10 my lining has gone down to 6.7 but my follicles have grown and now have 5 at 17-19 plus 3 at 14-16

Not great news but trying to remain hopeful
We had ultrasound scan and consultation this morning. My AMH is still low and the ovary on my right seems to be inactive. On the left I have 4 four follicles. Upset obviously but trying my best to remain calm and not freak out. My boyfriend has been great but apart from his motility needing a slight

MIXING PRED WITH IBUPROFEN AND OMEPRASOLE
Saw my GP this morning for advice on knee flare up 11 weeks after total knee replacement. Advised I should go back to taking ibuprofen as that works well for my knee pain. Prescribed double dose of omeprasole which she assured me would not result in any gastric reflux. Took first with quite a bit of

First cycle ok, second cycle pretty close to a bust
Hi everyone. I'm new to the group. I'm 35 and after asking a query about fertility and egg freezing at the gynaecologist last year, I had some tests. Results were lower AMH and follicle count for my age (still just in range) so I decided to proceed with egg freezing as I don't currently have a partner
