Hello. I was told I had an AMH of 2.3 in February this year, I’m 34 years old. I’m now just over 6 weeks pregnant after my first round of ICSI with just 2 eggs collected. I had an amazing consultant who said it’s quality over quantity. I had low dose stims (150 Bemfola). For three months before our cycle I cut out refined sugar, dairy and refined grains. I lived as healthy as possible. You are really young and are likely to have good quality eggs. Xx
Hey. I went through something similar as well. I'm 32 and when I was 30ish I was told that I had a low AMH and was pretty much given a death sentence at that point. I researched a lot on how to boost my fertility and ended up eating clean, working out and taking several supplements over a course of a year or so. The next time they tested it, it was no longer low! I'm not sure if the first test was a fluke or whether what I did actually helped, but that number doesn't mean much when you're moving forward with IVF. We ended up with 12 fertilized eggs and 5 grade A embryos. Just take care of yourself and it will all work out. Try to be healthy and happy and it will all fall into place (I know, I know, easier said than done). The prenatal I was taking had supplements like chromium, magnesium + fish oil, iodine & zinc. I was also taking apple cider vinegar. So my advice would be to take your prenatal and all those great supplements on the market today, get a good sweat going, and cut out booze. You'll do great! Hope it all works out! xo
Thanks for dat positive reply...is my doc making me panic so dat I jump to ivf as soon as possible..?? Because according to her with long tubes I cannot conceive naturally.... would dat b true..?? I don't feel so isn't it??
Hi. Do you know your antral follicle count too, as AMH is only part of the picture. I made sure I ate well and took LOADS of supplements. I was recommended to take DHEA, Melatonin, Omega 3, Vit D, Complex B, Ubiquinol, Vit E and L'Argenine. Ate well, and with a dec ent IVF protocol had a really really good round on 3rd go. Good luck x
No idea with AMH, they don’t bother checking it again as once your are doing IVF it’s more about how you respond. I’d say it helped with egg quality which is important with low numbers. What’s your follicle count?
