Fertility journey with fibroids
I wanted to share my journey so far as despite how common they are I haven't seen too much discussion on fibroids and fertility here. I have found the messages shared on here so helpful as my knowledge has been limited and most of my journey has been impacted by the added complication of Covid. I

AMH at 44
Hi All, my AMH was measured as 1.35 ng/ml (9.64 pmol/L) in a blood test that my fertility clinic did recently. My history: I've conceived naturally 4 times, first when I was 38 that ended in a first trimester silent miscarriage, at 39 that resulted in our amazing daughter been born when I was 40. Then

3rd miscarriage 💔 what questions should I be asking?
hello, so today we had another early scan as despite seeing a heartbeat last week the baby was measuring 10 days behind 💔 they confirmed this morning that things hadn’t progressed and now no heartbeat. I’m broken. This is my third miscarriage (6 transfers) and I don’t know what to do next. Do they

Low AMH and 45. Any hope for egg freezing ?
Hi! I am 45 with a low AMH and desperate to freeze eggs. I know that embryo freezing is always a better option but my partner is not cooperating, he already has two kids from previous relationship and we have one baby of our own. So my only option is to freeze eggs but don’t want to spend thousands of

First cycle completed with a BFN
Hi everyone, I was very good and waited as instructed for my OTD this morning before testing. A clear negative. Transfer 26th September. I’m 43 in a couple of weeks and a single woman trying for a baby. So no other half to support me. It’s taken around 10 months to get here, thousands of pounds down

PRP- Has anyone tried this?
Hi, I've been reading about PRP as a treatment to support those with low AMH. Has anyone done this? Is it available in the UK? Thanks!

Would you go for a single or double transfer?
Hi all. At egg collection we had 8 eggs retrieved, 6 successfully went through ICSI and 2 fertilised. At the day 3 call we were told both are developing well and it’s hard to distinguish between them both at this stage so we have decided to see how they go to day 5. I thought that if both do well

is it worth trying anymore?
Hi ladies, I had 2 embryos from my first IVF cycle, 1 ended in bio-chemical and another turned up as complex aneuploid with trisomy 1,3,5,18,21. is it worth trying again at my age, turning to be 42? my AMH dropped 2.7ng from 3.7 last year. Please share your experience. Thanks in advance

Missed miscarriage LGBT
After over 2 1/2 years of fertility treatment we got our BFP at the beginning of September. We have had 4 fresh rounds and two FETs to get to this point, but now have found out our precious baby stopped growing at 6 weeks. I've not even miscarried yet, that's to come but im devastated and feel so lost

IVF in Glasgow
hi all, we have been TTC for some time now and we went to GCRM to get fertility tests done. I have very low amh 2.8pmol/L and my boyfriend has really low sperm count and motility. We aren’t sure whether to stick with GCRM or go elsewhere to start our IVF journey. The doctor told us we would have to do

Pain relief when you have cirrhosis?
I know this is only a minor problem compared to many on here (and I apologise for that) but does anyone have any experience of trying to get adequate pain relief when you have cirrhosis? I have widespread osteoarthritis, and severe nerve pain caused by problems with my back and neck - but the Zapain

considering donor eggs
we started late on our fertility journey for numerous reasons. Had my first ivf this summer, had low AMH 2.5 at 43 years old. We had two blasts but didn’t take. We we’re getting ready for another round but just found out that my AMH is now 0.7. Is there any point trying with own eggs given my age and

New Hope….update on my treatment using egg donor 🌹🌹
hello Warriors, just want to update on my progress, have spent 2 weeks already in Cyprus, one more week to go. Due to my AMH level 1.6 at my age, I decided to go ahead with an egg donor. My clinic has been preparing my baseline- which is 13mm , according to the consultant it’s a good size. Yesterday

Baseline Scan
Hi All, I had a baseline scan after one day of stims on day 2 of my cycle. They also check my follicles, 3 on the left and 1 on the right. I knew it was going to be low as my AMH is low. Even though this is my third cycle, I can’t remember what I had before but I’m sure there’s still a chance for more
