How my AVR is going so far - two-month follow-up
But I no longer (for almost the first time I can remember) have aortic stenosis or an aortic
aneurysm
. I am now longer carrying round like a dark cloud the prospect of (first "one day" and latterly "looming") open heart surgery, as I have been since at least my teens.

Consultant appointment
This is a rare
aneurysm
so I’m a Guinea pig for the neurologists in Glasgow . Still here which is the main thing . My new name is Long Shona Silver as I need to wear a patch to keep the unblinking eye closed. I wish you all a very happy Christmas with better health for 2019. Shona 🤗🏴

Help
My story so far is I had
aneurysm
found in 2012 and stents and coils fitted, it lasted until 2016, when it ruptured, I had further coils fitted to stem the bleeding and I recovered well, returning to work, and getting on with life.

Muscle weakness in leg
Has anyone suffered leg weakness after surgery for coiling a brain
aneurysm
? I only had the anaesthetic drugs as the op was abandoned - too risky.

yoga
Hi, I had a SAH march 2016 but also have an untreated
aneurysm
. It isn't monitored anymore as it would be more dangerous to treat than to leave. I used to go to yoga prior to the bleed and really enjoyed it. I now feel I would like to restart it.

Aquired brain injury happens for a bunch of reasons, from physical trauma to CSF leak but in this case it was a subarachnoid hemorrhage, an uncommon type of stroke caused by a burst blood vessel in the brain (a ruptured brain
aneurysm
).

PVCs and aneurysm
I’m very scared this is another way of saying
aneurysm
. The cardiologist is arranging a CT scan, but I’m hoping someone here can shed some light on this. Has anyone got an
aneurysm
and lives happily with it?

Thoracic/ascending aortic aneurysms
Seems to be an advocacy and information gap for people like me, diagnosed with an ascending aortic
aneurysm
(4.5cm in my case) without other symptoms, and without Marfan syndrome. There's a Marfan support group, and there's an Aortic Dissection support group.

My anxiety from 0-100!! 😢
I have convinced I have a brain
aneurysm
that’s about to burst 😢 my colleague at work her brother had one last year. I have just read the daily mail and a young women died from it. Read symptoms of stiff neck droopy eye headache, sensitive to bright light and have it all!

Please read this- it might save your life!
Temporal arteries no longer being attacked BUT all of my major arteries ( aorta, carotids, sub-clavian, you name it) have significant inflammation and evidence of being actively attacked, and I could easily have had a stroke,
aneurysm
or heart attack and be dead!

How long do these test results TAKE!!!
Although they have already told me about the
aneurysm
on my aortic root and that ive a mild lsvd I would of thought it would be pretty important to at least letme know if things are serious. Ive a family to support n work getting on my case. Any suggestions why the wait?

A week since DC cardioversion - back in ED
Lots going on in resus too, a aortic
aneurysm
in the next bay had delayed the consultant going off shift who said she didn't agree with yet another cardioversion so soon, at my age, and as a treatment because it is a "waste of resources" (in private she said to the doctor it's a "piss take") that I'm

I'm New Here
I was diagnosed with CVD (cardio-vascular disease) 18 years ago and have had angina, 3 MIs (Myocardial Infarctions or heart attacks), angioplasty, a huge
aneurysm
, by-pass surgery, AF (atrial fibrillation) and medically-managed heart failure. I am now 72 and pretty well all things considered.

Bad day
I know my huge
aneurysm
(28mm)which hopefully has been tamed with the 17coils , artery occluded and a stent in June then a further stent placed in September that it is early doors for me to be feeling better. I am feeling bad today and in bed with a headache, sore neck and the face numb again .

pounding heartbeat and anxiety only when I wake up. Morning or nap.
I have decided to wean myself off of them without the blessing of my nurse practitioner because I'm so desperate for answers, I thought if a brain
aneurysm
declared them useless, maybe they are just making my symptoms worse.

Newbie looking for advice
I'm a 24 year old female, I found out in August of this year that I had 3 heart conditions; congenital heart disease, aortic
aneurysm
and aortic valve disease . None of which I had any idea of, and even to this point I'm still not 100% accepting what I was told as I found out this late on.
