Hi everyone, not posted for a while but struggling at the minute. I’ve been having tia,s and undergoing lots of tests, saw my neurologist surgeon last week he says check my scans from Majorca, and arrange scan here, if needed, I go on Saturday. He says I’d be very unlucky if my aneurysm has grown again but that’s the kind of luck I have, wish they could take aneurysm out but it’s too deep. I’m on my third sick note, only had three months off after brain haemorrhage, but feel pretty crap, at the moment, hope everyone is well, you all helped me last time, fingers crossed for some good news love Alice xx

Hi,
It sounds like you're situation is pretty crappy.
Some of us seem to get more of this stuff than others BUT it could be worse for you.
I myself was born with a terrible debilitating condition, moments of true confusion, an atrocious memory, the constant pressure of laughing off severe pain, the feeling of joy at the simple act of trumping, yes, that's right Alice, I'm a male. Count yourself lucky young lady, you're living the dream.
Hi Alice. What a rotten time for it's been for you, and such a shame about your holiday. Is it Salford Royal you're attending on Saturday ? xx
Yes cat, I had to go to Wythenshawe to see consultant first but scan at Salford on Saturday. He said very unlucky if aneurysm has grown again, but that’s the kind of luck I have.been off work since July, and still feel rubbish. Hope you are well will keep you in touch take care xx
I'm at the stage where I have an annual check up at Withington hosp. At my last one in July I was referred to ENT at Trafford general, which is next Tues. Salford consultants have a really wide 'catchment' area ; I've seen them at several different hospitals.
They do struggle in getting to the cause of symptoms, so all they can do is address those symptoms by whatever means possible. In the meantime, we live to fight another day ! 😧 Good luck with your scan Alice ; I hope it's good news and followed by some effective medication to control the TIAs. Update when you can m'love. xx
It takes time to recover and I’m 3 years on after a SAH and still experiencing difficulties. Remember ‘recovery is an ongoing process ‘
Thanks kavib, yes I know, according to docs in Majorca, my aneurysm is a giant and having been so well for last eighteen months and now this. Go to Salford today for scan and will take it from there, will keep you informed, love Alice xx
