when will I start feeling better?
hi all. Have been injecting daily with methylcobalamin for 2 months as well as taking liquid iron. I’ve heard people say it takes “a while “ to start feeling better, just wondering how long we are talking. I need my daily dizziness to go away or know if it’s not being caused by anemia. Thanks!

B12 / PA roller-coaster and further tests
They then did an intrinsic factor test and it's been confirmed that I have Pernicious
Anaemia
. The nurse told me my B12 levels were extremely low - they came back as under 100pg/mL (apparently they don't get more specific readings under a hundred).

Help with diagnosis
Hi, I have pernicious
anaemia
(PA) and members from the PA society group on HealthUnlocked signposted me here. Some of the symptoms of hypothyroidism and PA overlap. I dont seem to be responding as well as I expected with B12 injections for PA and my last bloods show a 'normal' range for TSH.

Co-morbidities with B12D/PA
Did anyone get any strange or unusual comorbidities around the time of their B12 deficiency or PA diagnosis? I just spoke with the hospital concerning a check-up on my parotid gland - a pleomorphic adenoma I had removed in 2020 along with a co-occurring thyroid nodule removal. They state that they

CLL Staging
Hello. My husband, Simon, was diagnosed with CLL several years ago and has been closely monitored. On his last visit to his consultant he was told that he needs to start treatment. Either Rituximab or Venetoclax. My husband is always dismissive of his condition and does not want to discuss with me

Effect of exercise on thyroid blood tests?
Just wondering, what effect have people noticed on their blood tests if exercising the day before/same day/other time? SlowDragon has previously shared that the ideal time for thyroid blood tests is just before 9am, and I'm wondering if exercising should also be taken into account? https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov

Glenmark Levothyroxine
Whilst we saw their levothyroxine withdrawn last year, I just saw something that made me wonder if it is coming back. The dm+d is a database of all medicines. Much else in the NHS uses the dm+d data as a starting point. It is a legal requirement for new medicines to be added to dm+d within something

Fibro & Severe Stiffness.
Hello all. So it's been a while since I posted last. Many of you were so incredibly helpful and knowledgeable on many questions about fibro. I had never realised or put the two together when it came down to severe stiffness that some people experienced this as a symptom of fibro. Can anybody explain

Husband's last O Infusion rescheduled due to low Neutrophils and WBC
UPDATE: After a week off of all meds, Absolute Neutrofils have gone DOWN to .60, Absolute Eosinophils down to 0. He will start on GCSF Infusions tomorrow for 4 days. His Specialist is confident that his numbers will go up for FINAL infusion next week. At that point dosage of Venetoclax will be reduced

body heat and buprenorphine
Hi, I have been using Buprenorphine patches for 4 weeks and was wondering whether body heat releases more opioids into the system. When I’m really warm I feel spacey and drowsy. Has anyone else experienced this?

Help please to understand my recent tests and what supplements I should be taking.
Recent blood tests following increase 8 weeks ago of levothyroxine to 100mcg daily from 100mcg 3 x a week, 50mcg 4 x a week. Could someone please help me to determine what supplements I should be taking. GP has suggested 1000 units of Vit d. I think my ferritin and possibly folate looks low also.

Zanabrutinib
Happy New year, everyone! I was treated with Ibrutinib for about 2 years, and taken off after a grade 3 event (SVT Tachycardia). It was decided I would stay off treatment until progression. Although I should get somewhere between one and three years in remission, my consultant has already started to
