Blood results from the local NHS neurologist say: “Iron level 22 falls within normal range” Is this ferritin?! This was after 2 weeks of being on ferrous fumarate and it was 24! 🙄🙄🙄 I know the levels should be over 100 at least as per Mayo. 😡 Transferrin Saturations 26% Transferrin level 3.4

Root cause of autoimmune B12 def
Hello- I was just diagnosed with PA and was prescribed injections (cyanocobalamin unfortunately). This was from a hematology referral for low white blood cells. That turned out to be ok, but the doc noticed my B12 was "low" at 310. I was already supplementing B12 so she just said keep doing that.

Recommended iron levels
With regard to iron, there is really only one correct way to test a patient's four iron levels. This information is from The Johns Hopkins University & Medical Center in Maryland, USA. Listed below are the four iron parameters, the "normal" limits for men and women, and the recommended levels for RLS

Would be grateful for recommendations for iron supplement for my daughter. She is vegan and her ferritin is on the low side. In fact her vitamins are all rubbish but I’ve got everything else covered. Something gentle would be preferred. thanks in anticipation 🥰🥰

Can anyone help me with my iron levels?
I've read on here that supplementing iron when only ferretin is low can be risky .... But wondered if anyone could give any input on my results? My ferretin isn't great and I want to improve it. Haemoglobin 140 (115 - 165) Serum iron level 18 (10 - 30) Serum transferrin 2.1 (2.0 - 4.0) Transferrin
