If you are B12D/PA look for a ferritin level of 100 (opinion varies). At 56 you could well have hidden anaemia. Try heme iron.

Yes I’ve just received simply iron to try

Scientist, not medic.

You're not making it very easy for me. The results you've quoted show that you have a complex picture; hypochromic, but not microcytic. The most useful indicator of anaemia is, of course, your Haemoglobin concentration! There's no doubt that 'something's going on' but it's not immediately obvious what it is. You're not iron deficient in the classical sense, but reduced transferrin saturation along with your MCH and MCHC suggests you're heading that way.

All of these things are linked, and it's a job for your doctor to figure out.

Good luck.

Doctor not doing anything just marks them abnormal but I’m so tired I also have thyroid t3 under range she says she can’t deal with low t3 I’m also very itchy

Sounds like you need another doctor, in my humble opinion!

I’m waiting for endocrine so she admits t3 is beyond her capabilities but I really don’t feel well

Have you had vit D, B12 & ferritin tested too?

Folate - aim for a level of 20. Recommend taking an active/methyl (should say on label) B complex which contains 400mcgs folate (also B12).

B complex suggestions: Slightly cheaper options with inactive B6:

Contains B6 as P5P an active form:

Explanation about the different forms of B6:

You may be right, but take care and get advice from someone who is qualified to give it. Pharmacists, Nurse Prescribers, even those folks who call themselves 'Doctors'!

Good luck.
