Enid has told me T3 will shorten my life
At my recent endo appointment, the Professor looked at me over the top of his spectacles and said, ‘if the blood test comes back right, I’m happy for you to stop taking the trial of T4 ‘(which I was coerced into taking) “and go onto 3 x day T3, 10mcg. You do realise it’s as clear as barn doors staring

Ovulation strips exp 02/23 and 10/23
So, I know I’m the lunatic that tested with a very out of date pregnancy test not so long ago… which tbf gave an accurate BFN 🙁 I am trying modified natural for my next FET and am waiting for my next period to start using ovulation tests on day 8 of my cycle. I’m nervous using my natural cycle, but

Lab Cut Backs (blood testing)!
I've read on here numerous times about people being refused T3 tests because "we're not allowed to test that any more" etc etc. Clearly appalling when trying to get a full picture of what's going on with your thyroid. I've just spoken to the GP about some other blood tests I'm having done tomorrow (

Pluvicto Treatment
So, I just completed my 3rd round of Pluvicto and my primary oncologist wanted me to do a CT scan w/contrast and a bone scan. The Ct showed some increase in cancer in the liver and a number of other spots. I am only doing Pluvicto and no other treatment as requested. Are there other people who are receiving

interesting concepts (not applicable yet): Modulating extracellular matrix stiffness - a strategic approach to boost cancer immunotherapy
”How can targeting ECM stiffness be optimized to achieve maximal efficacy in various types of cancer immunotherapy?”….now that’s a hell of a question! https://www.nature.com/articles/s41419-024-06697-4

bleeding coming of prostap
can anyone help…. so I stopped taking prostap in October (last injection end of October) and had no period yet but I did have some signs of ovulation! 2 weeks ago I got a positive pregnancy test but since then have done several tests and they have all been negative so I am assuming it’s a false positive

PSA rockets up to 344
Hello - I received quite shocking news during my visit to the Mayo Clinic last week. My PSA has jumped to 344 from a low of 3.6 last November, when I completed chemo with cabazitaxel. PSA did start to rise quite soon, into double digits, but this is by far my highest PSA ever. Dr. Kwon recommended

Ferritin and depression anxiety!
Does anyone have any experience or opinions on the link between low ferritin and depression and anxiety! It seems I have had my thyroid levels optimal for a while now… me being me thought that because I had raise my ferritin from 40 to 80 that it would stay there with a measly maintenance dose of 20mg

Any suggestions please.
Hello. I wonder if you would be kind enough to give me your views on my latest results please. I currently take 100mcg thyroxine at bedtime. My GP withdrew my T3 ( 5mcg) around 5 years ago. Apparently it doesn't work and was too expensive. I feel dreadful. I'm underweight with a BMI of 18 and on top

tp53 mutation
Hi All, my dad has been diagnosed with CLL and has just had it confirmed that he has the TP53 mutation/deletion. He is stable at the moment and is currently on watch & wait. His consultant has said if and when he starts treatment it will be for life or until it isn’t effective. I’ve read lots that say

Different mutation?
I was just checking via my NHS app what had been sent to my GP, when I noticed on a letter from Guys this - it listed my mutations - CGN - normal karotype, NGS - CALR, L2AF1, ASXL2. (High risk markers) Previously I thought I was ASXL1, it could be a typo I suppose but does anyone know the difference
