Sibo & Medications
I have had diffuse systemic scleroderma since 2011, I am 71 years of age. I had my first bout of sibo a year ago, for which I was prescribed metronidazole followed by co-amoxiclav, that worked perfectly. I have recently had another episode of sibo & took the same drugs, but it seems to be coming back

Bisoprolol and Codiene
I have just been to the dentist and she has prescribed Amoxicillin and Co-Codamol. I take Warfarin and Bisoprolol for my Afib and wondered if any of you knew about any unsavoury interactions. I know the antibiotic affects the Warfarin and I will need an INR check in three days, but it’s the Bisoprolol

Has anybody been diagnosed with Lyme disease and if so how did that affect their afb? I have had 7!!! tick bites this summer but only the one on my back was attatched for any time given how miniscule the others were. Two months later a pink rash appeared at the bite site. This is unusual as the rash

Help
Good morning folks I’m still suffering long Covid and all the pains and other things associated with it. Until now, I have been taking 1mg of prednisone but during the night I had a very bad flare up of PMR and wonder if I should go up up to 5 mg. Prednisone I have worked so hard to reduce to 1mg

Bronchiectasis - advice on treating symptoms while waiting for sputum test results
Hello, I introduced myself recently after having my first bronchiectasis flare-up a few weeks ago. I have an urgent question that I'd be grateful for any advice on please. After I rang the doctor at the outset about my symptoms, I was first put on the AB Clarithromycin for a week which seemed to work

Dental work SURPRISE - mtx -rituximab - Prolia - prednisone
I recently asked for and received great support from the group concerning getting medical clearance for dental work, a crown/cleaning due to mtx, rituximab, prednisone. Rheumy said to get clearance from GP. Two DIFFERENT doctors from the clinic responded. One prescribed amoxicillin prior to dental work

Pneumonia and Azathioprine/Prednisolone
I had managed just over 2 years since my last case of pneumonia after i swore by the 'onion trick', to treat resp infections. I've been having maybe a month and a half of apnoec and SOB episodes which were finally improving after a few weeks of antiepileptic medication, Keppra. But as the dose increased

Am I selfish
Hello - a lot of my fellow posters know I am going through a rough period at the moment. I had my review and I am stable but again more antibiotics cefalexin 4 x 250mg a day for 7 days. The amoxycillin gave me the most wicked headaches and I had to stop them. I take mannose and cranberry but I just cannot

Reflux recovery after antibiotics

Irregular Heartbeat
Morning All, I joined this forum for advice on my husband's heart problems however Ithis week i had Doppler tests on my feet and legs (ok as it turned out) but the nurse told me I had very high BP (160/100) and an irregular heartbeat. I heard this too on the Doppler. She advised me to see my GP quickly
