Sorry guys, after some help again..

Just got to Mums to find her really chesty and hacking. Her sputum is yellow today but was clear 2 days ago. I have a rescue pack of Ciprofloxacin 500mg but then was also issued Co-amoxiclav 500mg/125mg as Ciprofloxacin did make her feel rotten. She also has Prednisolone 5mg x 6 a day.

I can contact GP on Tuesday and see if they will send a sputum sample but in the meantime wonder if I should start Mum on the Co-amoxiclav with or without Prednisolone.

If anyone has any advice ( I know not medically trained but you are probably wiser than I) I would be very grateful.

I feel that we should do something now rather than wait til Tuesday. Sorry I have not made it clear that Mum has Bronchiectasis .

Thank you as always

I'd suggest do a covid test and if clear ring 111 and they will help. I hope she is feeling better soon.
