AMLODIPINE AND CANDERSARTAN
I have been advised to take Amlodipine alongside the Candersartan I already take, for optimal low blood pressure. Anyone else on this combination?

White Coat Syndrome - when to treat
Hi, Looking for some advice. I have always had white coat syndrome (WCS), not just at the doctor/ hospital but can also give it to myself when taking my own BP readings. In November I went on to Amlodipine (5mg), and this seemed to help but of course, could equally have been the opposite effect to white

Changing medication
Hi cardiologist recommended I change amlodipine to diltiazem re continuing chest pain (at rest too) and pressure on chest/sternum, and aspirin to clopidogrel re asthma as was finding breathing out difficult. When you change meds should you change one at a time so you can see impact of each more clearly

Finally
I’m new-ish to high bp. My journey started with readings around 150/105 give or take a few back in November. Was put on Ramipril and got the cough so changed to 100mg Losartan, bp still not where it needed to be so last week I was put on 5mg Amlodipine as well and finally the readings in the last 2 days

Reoccurring BP
Since November 2020 when I had my hypertensive crisis my BP has been well controlled by good eating, exercise, weight control, minimising alcohol and caffeine to an average 128/60. I take daily Amlodipine 10mg and Ramipril 2.5mg. Just lately it has spiked again last night to an alarming 178/75; this

My problem is I'm having issues with numbness in my hands when I wake up, also I bought

Amlodipine Besylate 5mg. for BP
I did 6 rounds of chemo, & had Hysterectomy for clear cell ovarian cancer. Now I'm ongoing treatment with Avastin. As you know Avastin has one side effect that is high blood pressure, which I am experiencing. I have never had high blood pressure in my entire life, but now must go on Amlodipine Besylate
