Reactions to Amlodipine ….

OMG! I’ve been taking Amlodipine since 2011 along with Lisinopril for HBP and water retention. I had no idea that Amlodipine was causing all the side affects I’ve been experiencing. The major being severe back/waist pain. The quality of my life is terrible because of this. My vacations have been sadden by not being able to walk for too long without taking a break. I blamed it on aging and that I may not be exercising enough. Just this week I started to investigate the meds I take and read all this stuff about this medication. I’m shocked. Once I got COVID I blamed COVID but realize my symptoms go further back then that. I have swelling of ankles, knees, sensitive pain in the soft tissue on back of ankle, pain and sensitivity in elbows, skeletal muscular pain in whole body, and when COVID started March 2020 and sent home to work started to have sharp pain on my right side of body near or around rib area, dry eyes, confusion, foggy brain, unmotivated and no zest for life and sleeping too long etc. I stopped taking the medication 2 days ago . Let’s see what happens. Dr. Appt on June 10th 2022.
