New medication
Hi girls, I’m still on the jasmine pill, but I have now been put on the depo injection as well. Didn’t help at all with the pain or the bleeding so I’ve been given two types of medication as well. I’ve been told to take Mefenamic acid and Tranexamic acid three times a day. It’s helped with bleeding

Drops ineffective. Also have dry skin, previous infertility and miscarriages. Could it be vitamin a deficiency

Omega 3 for blepharitis?
I have dry everything including eyes. My optician recommended taking O-3 supplements. But not sure how much Epa/dha is beneficial. Bought some capsules which gave me upset stomach. Cut one open and it was rancid despite sell by date of 2021. Anyone had any experience that could advise me?

Trying to decrease prednisone
I was diagnosed with PMR one and a half years ago, after having had symptoms of it for at least 12 years. I think because I would get symptoms and then have them go away I just thought it was normal aging. First time I had been carrying my 3 year old granddaughter up and down stairs all afternoon and

Advice on treatment for osteoporosis.
Hi, I’m new here and this is my first post. I was diagnosed with osteoporosis in 2015 after I sustained a right hip fracture following a fall. DEXA scan showed T.score -3.1 spine; -2.6 femoral neck; -2.9 left hip. I was started on Adcal-D3 and alendronic acid. I stopped the Alendronate after 6 months

Alendronic Acid 70 mg tablets.
Does anyone have any thoughts on Alendronic Acid tablets? My rheumatologist wants me to take it, but for some reason, I just have a really strong aversion to taking it. I keep looking at it but can`t bring myself to take it.

I currently self medicate with half a 150mg Thyrogold capsule each morning, then take a selenium supplement, Better You vitamin D spray, and Holland and Barrett acidophilus at lunch time, then an iron supplement at dinner, and magnesium lotion before bed. These are some of my blood test results from

All about Arthritis and the Ignored foods that can worsen arthritis
Like several illnesses and diseases, health science has overlooked the accurate causes of arthritis for years. Each of the most important types of arthritis has been revealed to have comparable etiologies. It has also been assumed that Gout arthritis, Rheumatoid arthritis and Osteo arthritis can have

Omega 3? Good or bad After chemo
Hi you guys, my dad's primary care Dr recommended he take Omega 3 supplements, 3 of the 1000mg capsules a day. (To lower his triglycerides) I have been reading old posts that say Omega 3 supplements are bad for PC. What does everyone think? Could this affect his psa reading too? Thanks Ellie

Perfect periods to misery in 1 year. Will I be taken seriously?
Sorry for long post. I came off the pill (Ovranette, which I'd been on for ~7 years) as I thought it was making my skin bad. I was fine for about 6 months, and then my periods got weird. The time between them was becoming more erratic, and my bleeds lasted longer (10 days as opposed to normal 4-5).

lower back pain and right hip pain especially lying in bed
I had a DEXA scan just over 2 years ago as part of breast cancer treatment. This identified I had osteoporosis in my spine, I'm not sure of the scores or exactly where but I was told my hips are fine. I have had back problems on and off for years but generally with a visit to a chiropractor and exercise
